The Biography of Dong Zhongshu -- $tSelected Bibliography -- $tIndex 330 $aThe Spring and Autumn (Chunqiu) is a chronicle kept by the dukes of the state of Lu from 722 to 481 B.C.E. Luxuriant Gems of the "Spring and Autumn" (Chunqiu fanlu) follows the interpretations of the Gongyang Commentary, whose transmitters sought to explicate the special language of the Spring and Autumn. The work is often ascribed to the Han scholar and court official Dong Zhongshu, but, as this study reveals, the text is in fact a compendium of writings by a variety of authors spanning several generations. It depicts a utopian vision of a flourishing humanity that they believed to be Confucius's legacy to the world.The Gongyang masters thought that Confucius had written the Spring and Autumn, employing subtle phrasing to indicate approval or disapproval of important events and personages. Luxuriant Gems therefore augments Confucian ethical and philosophical teachings with chapters on cosmology, statecraft, and other topics drawn from contemporary non-Confucian traditions. A major resource, this book features the first complete English-language translation of Luxuriant Gems, divided into eight thematic sections with introductions that address dating, authorship, authenticity, and the relationship between the Spring and Autumn and the Gongyang approach. Critically illuminating early Chinese philosophy, religion, literature, and politics, this book conveys the brilliance of intellectual life in the Han dynasty during the formative decades of the Chinese imperial state. 410 0$aTranslations from the Asian classics. 606 $aPhilosophy, Chinese 606 $aPhilosophers 607 $aChina$xPolitics and government 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aPhilosophy, Chinese. 615 0$aPhilosophers. 676 $a931/.03 700 $aDong$b Zhongshu$factive 2nd century B.C.,$01046687 702 $aQueen$b Sarah A$g(Sarah Ann), 702 $aMajor$b John S. 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910460502703321 996 $aLuxuriant gems of the Spring and Autumn$92473777 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03327nam 2200757Ia 450 001 9910459377403321 005 20200520144314.0 010 $a1-317-14865-7 010 $a1-282-52502-6 010 $a9786612525025 010 $a0-7546-9450-X 035 $a(CKB)2670000000013651 035 $a(EBL)495315 035 $a(OCoLC)609858389 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000358981 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11305181 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000358981 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10381722 035 $a(PQKB)10718889 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC495315 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5293564 035 $a(PPN)171543920 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL495315 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10376624 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL922534 035 $a(OCoLC)647902703 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL5293564 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL252502 035 $a(OCoLC)1027194439 035 $a(EXLCZ)992670000000013651 100 $a20091118d2010 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aDoing family photography$b[electronic resource] $ethe domestic, the public, and the politics of sentiment /$fGillian Rose 210 $aFarnham, Surrey, UK ;$aBurlington, VT $cAshgate$dc2010 215 $a1 online resource (167 p.) 225 1 $aRe-materialising cultural geography 300 $aDescription based upon print version of record. 311 $a0-7546-7732-X 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references and index. 327 $aCover; Contents; Preface; 1 Introduction; 2 How to Look at Family Photographs:Practices, Objects, Subjects and Places; 3 What is Done with Family Snaps?; 4 What Happens with this Doing? Here, case study material drawn from the UK offers a deeper understanding of both domestic family photographs and their public display. Recent work in material culture studies, geography, and anthropology is used to approach photographs as objects embedded in social practices, which produce specific social positions, relations and effects. 410 0$aRe-materialising cultural geography. 606 $aPhotography$xSocial aspects 606 $aPhotographs$xPsychological aspects 606 $aFamily archives 606 $aFamilies 606 $aManners and customs 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aPhotography$xSocial aspects. 615 0$aPhotographs$xPsychological aspects. 615 0$aFamily archives. 615 0$aFamilies. 615 0$aManners and customs. 676 $a770 700 $aRose$b Gillian$0251864 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910459377403321 996 $aDoing family photography$91927562 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01227nam 2200433 450 001 9910796383903321 005 20200520144314.0 010 $a2-87998-133-6 035 $a(CKB)3790000000538483 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL5178062 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr11479624 035 $a(OCoLC)1015867978 035 $a(PPN)25917694X 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5178062 035 $a(EXLCZ)993790000000538483 100 $a20190114d2018 uy 0 101 0 $afre 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aProce?dure civile /$fGaston Vogel 205 $aNouvelle e?dition actualise?e 2018. 210 1$aWindhof :$cPromoculture larcier,$d2018. 215 $a1 online resource (591 pages) 225 0 $aLes Pandectes 311 $a2-87998-110-7 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references and index. 606 $aCivil procedure$zLuxembourg 615 0$aCivil procedure 676 $a347.49350502632 700 $aVogel$b Gaston$0763317 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910796383903321 996 $aProce?dure civile$93744286 997 $aUNINA
