The goal of error control coding is to encode information in such a way that even if the channel (or storage medium) introduces errors, the receiver can correct the errors and recover the original transmitted information. This book includes the most useful modern and classic codes, including block, Reed Solomon, convolutional, turbo, and LDPC codes. You find clear guidance on code construction, decoding algorithms, and error correcting performances. Moreover, this unique book introduces computer simulations integrally to help you master key concepts. Including a companion DVD with MATLAB programs and supported with over 540 equations, this hands-on reference provides you with an in-depth treatment of a wide range of practical implementation issues. DVD Included! Contains carefully designed MATLAB programs that you can apply to your projects in the field.$cPublisher abstract. 606 $aComputer programming 606 $aError-correcting codes (Information theory) 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aComputer programming. 615 0$aError-correcting codes (Information theory) 676 $a621.38210285572 700 $aJiang$b Yuan$0854360 801 0$bCaBNVSL 801 1$bCaBNVSL 801 2$bCaBNVSL 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910459078203321 996 $aA practical guide to error-control coding using Matlab$91908005 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03258nam 2200637Ia 450 001 9910462638603321 005 20200520144314.0 010 $a1-283-85472-4 010 $a90-04-23033-5 024 7 $a10.1163/9789004230330 035 $a(CKB)2670000000309458 035 $a(EBL)1081578 035 $a(OCoLC)820335475 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000785068 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11443023 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000785068 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10802664 035 $a(PQKB)11766712 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC1081578 035 $a(nllekb)BRILL9789004230330 035 $a(PPN)170737055 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL1081578 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10631812 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL416722 035 $a(EXLCZ)992670000000309458 100 $a20121102d2012 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aPatterns of daily prayer in Second Temple period Judaism$b[electronic resource] /$fby Jeremy Penner 210 $aLeiden $cBrill$d2012 215 $a1 online resource (271 p.) 225 0$aStudies on the texts of the desert of Judah,$x0169-9962 ;$vv. 104 300 $aRev. version of the author's dissertation--McMaster University, 2010. 311 $a90-04-23307-5 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references (p. Since daily prayer lacks explicit biblical warrant, this book seeks to explain how this custom was legitimized as divinely inspired. The importance of daily prayer was understood and experienced within a range of literary and social contexts, and thus different exegetical and etiological strategies develop at this time to legitimize its practice. In some cases daily prayer was coordinated with, and made analogous to, daily cultic sacrifice, in other cases, daily prayer was legitimized by identifying the origins of the practice in sacred scripture. Lastly, in some contexts daily prayer was coordinated with the cycles of celestial bodies in the heavens. 410 0$aStudies on the Texts of the Desert of Judah$v104. 606 $aPrayer$xJudaism$xHistory$yTo 1500 606 $aJudaism$xHistory$yPost-exilic period, 586 B.C.-210 A.D 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aPrayer$xJudaism$xHistory 615 0$aJudaism$xHistory 676 $a296.4/91 676 $a296.491 700 $aPenner$b Jeremy$0889788 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910462638603321 996 $aPatterns of daily prayer in Second Temple period Judaism$92167274 997 $aUNINA
