Bavinck?s view of nature and grace is not only rooted in his Trinitarian theology, but, more importantly, in his covenant theology. Exploring Bavinck?s link between the doctrine of the imago Dei to an eschatology uniquely provided by Reformed covenant theology, this book serves to illumine the rationale behind his signature dogma that ?grace restores and perfects nature.? Given the link between the nature/grace motif and covenant theology, this book raises the question whether the one can stand without the other. 410 0$aStudies in Reformed theology ;$v21. 606 $aEschatology 606 $aImage of God 606 $aCovenant theology 606 $aReformed Church$xDoctrines 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aEschatology. 615 0$aImage of God. 615 0$aCovenant theology. 615 0$aReformed Church$xDoctrines. 676 $a230/.42 700 $aMattson$b Brian G$0915280 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910457748003321 996 $aRestored to our destiny$92051489 997 $aUNINA
