The Making of Bronze Age Eurasia outlines the long-term processes and patterns of interaction that link these groups together in a shared historical trajectory of development. Interactions took the form of the exchange of raw materials and finished goods, the spread and sharing of technologies, and the movements of peoples from one region to another. Kohl reconstructs economic activities from subsistence practices to the production and exchange of metals and other materials. Kohl also argues forcefully that the main task of the archaeologist should be to write culture-history on a spatially and temporally grand scale in an effort to detect large, macrohistorical processes of interaction and shared development. 410 0$aCambridge world archaeology. 606 $aBronze age$zEurasia 606 $aExcavations (Archaeology)$zEurasia 607 $aEurasia$xAntiquities 615 0$aBronze age 615 0$aExcavations (Archaeology) 676 $a950/.1 700 $aKohl$b Philip L.$f1946-$01048982 801 0$bUkCbUP 801 1$bUkCbUP 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910457622703321 996 $aThe making of bronze age Eurasia$92477650 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03374nam 22007935 450 001 9910787951203321 005 20180829132323.0 010 $a1-137-41307-7 024 7 $a10.1057/9781137413079 035 $a(CKB)2670000000567565 035 $a(SSID)ssj0001287900 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)12473339 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001287900 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)11291441 035 $a(PQKB)10226859 035 $a(SSID)ssj0001657491 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)16437673 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001657491 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)14987427 035 $a(PQKB)11503647 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC4827833 035 $a(DE-He213)978-1-137-41307-9 035 $a(EXLCZ)992670000000567565 100 $a20151224d2014 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aColoniality of Diasporas$b[electronic resource] $eRethinking Intra-Colonial Migrations in a Pan-Caribbean Context /$fby Yolanda Martínez-San Miguel 210 1$aNew York :$cPalgrave Macmillan US :$cImprint: Palgrave Macmillan,$d2014. 215 $a1 online resource (277 pages) 225 1 $aNew Caribbean Studies 300 $aBibliographic Level Mode of Issuance: Monograph 311 $a1-349-48979-4 311 $a1-137-41306-9 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references and index. 330 $aFocusing on piracy in the seventeenth century, filibustering in the nineteenth century, intracolonial migrations in the 1930s, metropolitan racializations in the 1950s and 1960s, and feminist redefinitions of creolization and sexile from the 1940s to the 1990s, this book redefines the Caribbean beyond the postcolonial debate. 410 0$aNew Caribbean Studies 606 $aLiterature-Philosophy 606 $aLiterature    606 $aLiterature-History and criticism 606 $aAmerica-Literatures 606 $aAmerica-History 606 $aCulture-Study and teaching 606 $aLiterary Theory$3http://scigraph.springernature.com/things/product-market-codes/812000 606 $aPostcolonial/World Literature$3http://scigraph.springernature.com/things/product-market-codes/838000 606 $aLiterary History$3http://scigraph.springernature.com/things/product-market-codes/813000 606 $aNorth American Literature$3http://scigraph.springernature.com/things/product-market-codes/834000 606 $aHistory of the Americas$3http://scigraph.springernature.com/things/product-market-codes/718000 606 $aCultural Theory$3http://scigraph.springernature.com/things/product-market-codes/411130 615 0$aLiterature-Philosophy. 615 0$aLiterature   . 615 0$aLiterature-History and criticism. 615 0$aAmerica-Literatures. 615 0$aAmerica-History. 615 0$aCulture-Study and teaching. 615 14$aLiterary Theory. 615 24$aPostcolonial/World Literature. 615 24$aLiterary History. 615 24$aNorth American Literature. 615 24$aHistory of the Americas. 615 24$aCultural Theory. 676 $a809/.89729 700 $aMiguel$b Yolanda Martínez-San$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$01223777 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910787951203321 996 $aColoniality of Diasporas$93742104 997 $aUNINA
