Since OLAF was set up in 1999, significant changes in its functional environment have taken place including in EU criminal law and especially in mutual assistance and substantive criminal law; the reconstruction of Eurojust and Europol through recent Regulations and Memoranda of Cooperation; and the entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty. The authors advance the view that OLAF's current legal framework must address these issues adequately. The approach they take is multi-disciplinary. OLAF is examined here through the prisms of EU politics and national, European and (to some extent) comparative law, focusing not only on the identification of current problems in regulation and procedure but also on its positioning within the context of European integration. Operational issues are then extensively discussed, making this a book for practitioners as well as policy makers and academics. The book addresses the theoretical and practical aspects of anti-fraud actions within both criminal and civil aspects of public law. Although OLAF works within an incomplete EU legal framework and with varying cooperation by national authorities, its staff have devised mechanisms that address some of these issues. Nevertheless, rules covering procedural and operational issues will need to be safeguarded within future legislation 410 0$aStudies in international and comparative criminal law ;$vv. 7. 606 $2Criminal law & procedure 606 $aFinance, Public$zEuropean Union countries$xAuditing 606 $aFraud$zEuropean Union countries 607 $aEuropean Union countries$xAppropriations and expenditures$xState supervision 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aFinance, Public$xAuditing. 615 0$aFraud 676 $a345.40263 700 $aStefanou$b Constantin$f1961-$0263017 702 $aWhite$b Simone 702 $aXanthaki$b Helen 801 0$bUtOrBLW 801 1$bUtOrBLW 801 2$bUkLoBP 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910457200003321 996 $aOLAF at the crossroads$92450799 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01091nam a22002411i 4500 001 991000892739707536 005 20021104145754.0 008 021104s1968 hu |||||||||||||||||ita 035 $ab12070142-39ule_inst 035 $aARCHE-015994$9ExL 040 $aDip.to Filologia Ling. e Lett.$bita$cA.t.i. The text begins with an introduction to MBT, covering both the benefits and the limitations of MBT. The authors review the various approaches to model-based testing, explaining the fundamental processes in MBT, the different modeling languages used, common good modeling practices, and the typical mistakes and pitfalls. The book explains the specifics of MBT test implementation, the dependencies on modeling and test generation activities, and the steps required to automate the generated test cases. The text discusses the introduction of MBT in a company, presenting metrics to measure success and good practices to apply. Provides case studies illustrating different approaches to Model-Based Testing Includes in-text exercises to encourage readers to practice modeling and test generation activities Contains appendices with solutions to the in-text exercises, a short quiz to test readers, along with additional information Model-Based Testing Essentials ? Guide to the ISTQB® Certified Model-Based Tester ? Foundation Level is written primarily for participants of the ISTQB® Certification: software engineers, test engineers, software developers, and anybody else involved in software quality assurance. This book can also be used for anyone who wants a deeper understanding of software testing and of the use of models for test generation. 410 0$aTHEi Wiley ebooks. 606 $aComputer software$xTesting$xExaminations$vStudy guides 606 $aModel-based reasoning$xExaminations$vStudy guides 606 $aElectronic data processing personnel$xCertification 615 0$aComputer software$xTesting$xExaminations 615 0$aModel-based reasoning$xExaminations 615 0$aElectronic data processing personnel$xCertification. 676 $a005.3028/7 700 $aKramer$b Anne$c(Software engineer),$01612560 702 $aLegeard$b Bruno 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910830634603321 996 $aModel-based testing essentials$93941430 997 $aUNINA
