This study analyses the conceptual categories of space, time and status in an effort to clarify the larger cultural and conceptual categories operative in the Priestly ritual system. Drawing on interpretative models derived from cultural anthropology, the author argues that Priestly creation theology forms a necessary context for understanding the Priestly rituals. 410 0$aJournal for the study of the Old Testament.$pSupplement series ;$v91. 606 $aTheology 606 $aRitual$xHistory 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aTheology. 615 0$aRitual$xHistory. 676 $a222.106 676 $a222/.1067 700 $aGorman$b Frank H$0905190 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910453893103321 996 $aThe ideology of ritual$92024472 997 $aUNINA
