He shows that since the time of Paul the apostle, the cities Colossae, Hierapolis and Laodicea allowed Christians to expand and develop in their own way. Huttner uses a wide variety of sources, not only Christian texts - from Pauline letters to Byzantine hagiographies - but also inscriptions and archeological remains, to reconstruct the religious conflicts as well as cooperation between Christians, Jews and Pagans. The book reveals the importance of local conditions in the development of Early Christianity. 410 0$aAncient Judaism and early Christianity ;$vv. 85. 606 $aChurch history$yPrimitive and early church, ca. 30-600 607 $aTurkey$xChurch history 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aChurch history 676 $a275.6101 700 $aHuttner$b U$g(Ulrich)$0439266 701 $aGreen$b David$062673 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910453800103321 996 $aEarly Christianity in the Lycus Valley$91920874 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01132nam a22002893i 4500 001 991001335559707536 005 20021212134911.0 008 021212s1972 it |||||||||||||||||ita 035 $ab12132949-39ule_inst 035 $aARCHE-022274$9ExL 040 $aDip.to Filologia Ling. e Lett.$bita$cA.t.i.
