Shining a forensic eye on colonial encounters in Chumash, Luiseño, and Yokuts territories, Lisbeth Haas depicts how native painters incorporated their cultural iconography in mission painting and how leaders harnessed new knowledge for control in other ways. Through her portrayal of highly varied societies, she explores the politics of Indigenous citizenship in the independent Mexican nation through events such as the Chumash War of 1824, native emancipation after 1826, and the political pursuit of Indigenous rights and land through 1848. 606 $aIndians of North America$xEthnic identity 606 $aIndians of North America$xLand tenure$zCalifornia$xHistory 606 $aIndians of North America$xMissions$zCalifornia$xHistory 606 $aIndians, Treatment of$zCalifornia 606 $aMissions, Spanish$zCalifornia$xHistory 607 $aCalifornia$xHistory$yTo 1846 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aIndians of North America$xEthnic identity. 615 0$aIndians of North America$xLand tenure$xHistory. 615 0$aIndians of North America$xMissions$xHistory. 615 0$aIndians, Treatment of 615 0$aMissions, Spanish$xHistory. 676 $a305.8970794 700 $aHaas$b Lisbeth$01004132 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910453617503321 996 $aSaints and citizens$92462638 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03918nam 2200793z- 450 001 9910557349903321 005 20220111 035 $a(CKB)5400000000042391 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/76903 035 $a(oapen)doab76903 035 $a(EXLCZ)995400000000042391 100 $a20202201d2021 |y 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurmn|---annan 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aEnergy Management of Prosumer Communities 210 $aBasel, Switzerland$cMDPI - Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute$d2021 215 $a1 online resource (122 p.) 311 08$a3-0365-2058-9 311 08$a3-0365-2057-0 330 $aThe penetration of distributed generation, energy storages and smart loads has resulted in the emergence of prosumers: entities capable of adjusting their electricity production and consumption in order to meet environmental goals and to participate profitably in the available electricity markets. Significant untapped potential remains in the exploitation and coordination of small and medium-sized distributed energy resources. However, such resources usually have a primary purpose, which imposes constraints on the exploitation of the resource; for example, the primary purpose of an electric vehicle battery is for driving, so the battery could be used as temporary storage for excess photovoltaic energy only if the vehicle is available for driving when the owner expects it to be. The aggregation of several distributed energy resources is a solution for coping with the unavailability of one resource. Solutions are needed for managing the electricity production and consumption characteristics of diverse distributed energy resources in order to obtain prosumers with more generic capabilities and services for electricity production, storage, and consumption. This collection of articles studies such prosumers and the emergence of prosumer communities. Demand response-capable smart loads, battery storages and photovoltaic generation resources are forecasted and optimized to ensure energy-efficient and, in some cases, profitable operation of the resources. 606 $aEnergy industries & utilities$2bicssc 606 $aTechnology: general issues$2bicssc 610 $aartificial intelligence 610 $abattery 610 $achronology 610 $acommunity of prosumers 610 $aconsensus + innovations 610 $adeep well heat pump 610 $ademand response 610 $adistributed energy resources 610 $adistrict heat 610 $aeconomic dispatch 610 $aelectricity market 610 $aelectricity price forecasting 610 $aflexible loads shifting scenarios 610 $afrequency containment reserve 610 $afrequency reserve 610 $ahierarchical agglomerative clustering 610 $aload factor 610 $anew consumption peak 610 $aparticle swarm optimization 610 $apeer-to-peer 610 $apower-to-heat 610 $aprosumers 610 $areal-time 610 $areal-time pricing 610 $areinforcement learning 610 $arenewable energy 610 $aresidential users 610 $asector coupling 610 $ashared PV plant 610 $asimulation 610 $astorage batteries 610 $athermal storage 610 $atimescale 610 $atwo-capacity building model 615 7$aEnergy industries & utilities 615 7$aTechnology: general issues 700 $aSierla$b Seppo$4edt$01290183 702 $aPourakbari-Kasmaei$b Mahdi$4edt 702 $aSierla$b Seppo$4oth 702 $aPourakbari-Kasmaei$b Mahdi$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910557349903321 996 $aEnergy Management of Prosumer Communities$93021398 997 $aUNINA
