Little -- Notes on Contributors -- Index. 330 $aNeither the meliorist political culture of the nascent American republic nor its later drift toward apocalyptically tinged 'fundamentalist' Protestantism and dispensationalism can be explained outside the context of the shared Anglo-American traditions and practices of millennial expectation and apocalyptic angst--whether expressed by early colonists, Milton, Blake, Miller or the Continental Congress. In this chronologically direct and thematically varied volume, five scholars working in three distinct disciplines (Religion, English literature, and History) approach millennialism and apocalypticism in the British and Anglo-American contexts, making remarkable contributions both to the study of religious, literary and political culture in the English-speaking ecumene, and, at least implicitly, to the critique of disciplinary exclusivity. Only in such mixed company does the study of the millennial nexus in English and American religion, culture, literature and politics, from the time of Milton to the time of the Millerites, come into focus. Contributors include: Richard Connors, Andrew Escobedo, Andrew C. Gow, J.I. Little, Stephen A. Marini, Beth Quitslund, and John Howard Smith. 410 0$aStudies in the History of Christian Traditions ;$v113. 606 $aMillennialism$zEngland$xHistory of doctrines$y17th century 606 $aMillennialism$zUnited States$xHistory of doctrines$y17th century 606 $aMillennialism$zUnited States$xHistory of doctrines$y18th century 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aMillennialism$xHistory of doctrines 615 0$aMillennialism$xHistory of doctrines 615 0$aMillennialism$xHistory of doctrines 676 $a236/.9 702 $aConnors$b Richard 702 $aGow$b Andrew Colin 801 0$bNL-LeKB 801 1$bNL-LeKB 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910451247603321 996 $aAnglo-American Millennialism, from Milton to the Millerites$92464056 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01445nas 2200433-a 450 001 9910144243003321 005 20240413025451.0 011 $a2631-4681 035 $a(CKB)991042728083718 035 $a(CONSER)--2001248010 035 $a(EXLCZ)99991042728083718 100 $a20010111a19979999 --- - 101 0 $aeng 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aE-motion /$fAssociation for Dance Movement Therapy U.K 210 $aLondon $cThe Association 215 $a1 online resource 311 08$aPrint version: E-motion (London, England) (DLC) 2001248010 (OCoLC)45699896 1460-1281 517 3 $aEmotion 517 3 $aEmotion ADMT UK quarterly 517 1 $aE-motion ADMT UK quarterly 606 $aDance therapy$zGreat Britain$vPeriodicals 606 $aMovement therapy$zGreat Britain$vPeriodicals 606 $aDance therapy$2fast$3(OCoLC)fst00887574 606 $aMovement therapy$2fast$3(OCoLC)fst01028519 607 $aGreat Britain$2fast$1https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PBJdmp7p3cx8hpmJ8HvmTpP 608 $aPeriodicals.$2fast 615 0$aDance therapy 615 0$aMovement therapy 615 7$aDance therapy. 615 7$aMovement therapy. 712 02$aAssociation for Dance Movement Therapy. 906 $aJOURNAL 912 $a9910144243003321 920 $aexl_impl conversion 996 $aE-motion$91912036 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03852oas 2201405 a 450 001 9910145191003321 005 20251105213014.0 011 $a1940-3208 035 $a(OCoLC)47561054 035 $a(CONSER) 2007215278 035 $a(CKB)954925541195 035 $a(EXLCZ)99954925541195 100 $a20010720a19829999 sy a 101 0 $aeng 135 $auran||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aJournal of American college health 210 $aWashington, DC $cHeldref Publications 210 $a[Philadelphia, PA] $cTaylor & Francis Group, LLC 215 $a1 online resource 300 $aRefereed/Peer-reviewed 311 08$a0744-8481 606 $aCollege students$xHealth and hygiene$zUnited States$vPeriodicals 606 $aCollege students$xHealth and hygiene$vPeriodicals 606 $aStudent Health Services 606 $aE?tudiants$xSante? et hygie?ne$zE?tats-Unis$vPe?riodiques 606 $aE?tudiants$xSante? et hygie?ne$vPe?riodiques 606 $aUniversite?s$xServices de sante? 606 $aCollege students$xHealth and hygiene$2fast$3(OCoLC)fst00868011 606 $aPromotion de la sante?$2rasuqam 606 $aUniversite?$2rasuqam 606 $aSante? publique$2rasuqam 606 $aE?ducation a? la sante?$2rasuqam 606 $aSalut pública$2thub 606 $aEstudiants universitaris$2thub 607 $aUnited States$2fast$1https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PBJtxgQXMWqmjMjjwXRHgrq 607 $aEstats Units d'Amèrica$2thub 608 $aPeriodical. 608 $aperiodicals.$2aat 608 $aPeriodicals.$2fast 608 $aPeriodicals.$2lcgft 608 $aPe?riodique e?lectronique (Descripteur de forme)$2rasuqam 608 $aRessource Internet (Descripteur de forme)$2rasuqam 608 $aPe?riodiques.$2rvmgf 608 $aRevistes electròniques.$2thub 615 0$aCollege students$xHealth and hygiene 615 0$aCollege students$xHealth and hygiene 615 2$aStudent Health Services. 615 6$aE?tudiants$xSante? et hygie?ne 615 6$aE?tudiants$xSante? et hygie?ne 615 6$aUniversite?s$xServices de sante?. 615 7$aCollege students$xHealth and hygiene. 615 7$aPromotion de la sante? 615 7$aUniversite? 615 17$aSante? publique. 615 7$aE?ducation a? la sante? 615 7$aSalut pública. 615 7$aEstudiants universitaris. 676 $a610 712 02$aAmerican College Health Association, 801 0$bFQM 801 1$bFQM 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bUV$ 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bHNK 801 2$bNSD 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bUQ1 801 2$bNSD 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bPFM 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bUKMGB 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bBUF 801 2$bOCLCF 801 2$bCOO 801 2$bCHVBK 801 2$bDLC 801 2$bOCLCO 801 2$bVT2 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bOCLCO 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bNLE 801 2$bAPUMS 801 2$bU3W 801 2$bAU@ 801 2$bOCLCO 801 2$bWYU 801 2$bSFB 801 2$bGWM 801 2$bDLC 801 2$bCNMTR 801 2$bDLC 801 2$bLDP 801 2$bQGK 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bOCLCO 801 2$bGUA 801 2$bUMC 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bUAB 801 2$bCUS 801 2$bOCLCL 801 2$bCOD 801 2$bOCLCL 801 2$bSRU 801 2$bVLY 801 2$bCSU 801 2$bLIP 801 2$bXFH 801 2$bOCLCQ 906 $aJOURNAL 912 $a9910145191003321 996 $aJournal of American college health$92200552 997 $aUNINA
