The strategic communication component developed for this project included the use of formative research about values and attitudes with respect to child rearing, in order to develop and test effective messages. The communication strategy was developed in a highly participatory manner and included nurturing a team of champions for the project among policymakers, district officials, community leaders, and grassroots organizations to advocate for the project. It also included two-way communication activities developed to address the practices and behaviors that would need to be changed in order for the project to be successful, rather than merely disseminating messages based on assumptions of project benefits. 410 0$aWorld Bank working paper ;$vno. 59. 606 $aHealth promotion$zUganda 606 $aMalnutrition in children$zUganda$xPrevention 606 $aEconomic assistance$zUganda 606 $aHealth, Nutrition, and Population 606 $aSocial and Cultural Issues 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aHealth promotion 615 0$aMalnutrition in children$xPrevention. 615 0$aEconomic assistance 615 0$aHealth, Nutrition, and Population. 615 0$aSocial and Cultural Issues. 676 $a353.6274096761 700 $aCaban?ero-Verzosa$b Cecilia$0864877 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910450399403321 996 $aCounting on communication$91930438 997 $aUNINA
