Analytic thermodynamic models are developed for a wide variety of cooling systems and a broad range of operating conditions. These models are easily implemented in the field or laboratory. 606 $aRefrigerants$xThermal properties 606 $aHeat pumps 606 $aThermodynamics 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aRefrigerants$xThermal properties. 615 0$aHeat pumps. 615 0$aThermodynamics. 676 $a697 700 $aGordon$b Jeffrey M$0291872 701 $aNg$b Kim Choon$0885628 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910449857303321 996 $aCool thermodynamics$91977527 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04306nam 22007575 450 001 9910416103103321 005 20250609111027.0 010 $a3-030-46508-X 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-030-46508-7 035 $a(CKB)4100000011372885 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-030-46508-7 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6287217 035 $a(PPN)25021668X 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6284453 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000011372885 100 $a20200806d2020 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurnn#008mamaa 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 12$aA Catalogue of Ecosystem Services in Slovakia $eBenefits to Society /$fedited by Peter Mederly, Ján ?ernecký 205 $a1st ed. 2020. 210 1$aCham :$cSpringer International Publishing :$cImprint: Springer,$d2020. 215 $a1 online resource (XXVI, 244 p. 114 illus., 110 illus. in color.) 311 08$a3-030-46507-1 327 $aPart I: Ecosystem Services Basics -- Chapter 1. Synthesis of ecosystem services assessment in Slovakia. 330 $aThis book provides the first comprehensive assessment of ecosystem services (ES) for the territory of the Slovak Republic. Although the ES approach is widely used for the evaluation of the benefits of natural capital and biodiversity for people, this book has a unique character. It provides an assessment of 18 individual ES, which are divided into three main groups - provisioning, regulatory/supporting and cultural ES. For each of ES, a brief theoretical and methodological overview is given, followed by spatial assessment based on own original methodology and dataset of 40 map layers. Besides, an evaluation of main ES groups and overall ES assessment is realized. This book emphasizes the key role of nature protection areas, large areas of forest ecosystems and mountain and sub-mountain areas, for the preservation of the various functions of the healthy landscape and ecosystems. The complexity of the book guarantees its usefulness - not only as the knowledge base for the territory of Slovakia but also as the methodological tool for worldwide researchers. 606 $aBiotic communities 606 $aGeobiology 606 $aEnvironmental geography 606 $aEnvironmental policy 606 $aLandscape ecology 606 $aBiodiversity 606 $aEcosystems$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/L1904X 606 $aBiogeosciences$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/G35010 606 $aEnvironmental Geography$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/J19010 606 $aEnvironmental Politics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/U38000 606 $aLandscape Ecology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/L19058 606 $aBiodiversity$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/L19031 606 $aPolítica ambiental$2thub 607 $aEslovŕquia$2thub 608 $aLlibres electrňnics$2thub 615 0$aBiotic communities. 615 0$aGeobiology. 615 0$aEnvironmental geography. 615 0$aEnvironmental policy. 615 0$aLandscape ecology. 615 0$aBiodiversity. 615 14$aEcosystems. 615 24$aBiogeosciences. 615 24$aEnvironmental Geography. 615 24$aEnvironmental Politics. 615 24$aLandscape Ecology. 615 24$aBiodiversity. 615 7$aPolítica ambiental. 676 $a574.9 702 $aMederly$b Peter$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $a?ernecký$b Ján$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910416103103321 996 $aA Catalogue of Ecosystem Services in Slovakia$91928376 997 $aUNINA
