Contributions address the problematic issues of cognitive archaeology, consumer research, literary theory and themes addressing both philosophical history and the history of reception of ideas and practice. The contributions seek both to close the critical gaps with respect to weaving, a broad and complex field in the area of ancient cultural techniques, and to identify new themes. Accordingly, the submissions expand our focus into late antiquity, to integrate texts such as letters written on Papyrus detailing the everyday correspondence of an Egyptian family or to spotlight the meaning of textile terms and the history of misunderstandings associated therein. Frequently overused analogies between writing and weaving are also examined in terms of their legitimacy as well as their limits. The papers presented here result from an international and interdisciplinary conference under the same title held in Castelen, near Basel in 2012"--Provided by publisher. 606 $aTextile fabrics, Ancient$vCongresses 606 $aTextile fabrics, Ancient$xResearch$vCongresses 606 $aTextile industry$xHistory$yTo 1500$vCongresses 606 $aWeaving$xHistory$yTo 1500$vCongresses 606 $aTextile fabrics, Ancient$xSocial aspects$vCongresses 606 $aManuscripts$xHistory$yTo 1500$vCongresses 606 $aWriting$xHistory$yTo 1500$vCongresses 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aTextile fabrics, Ancient 615 0$aTextile fabrics, Ancient$xResearch 615 0$aTextile industry$xHistory 615 0$aWeaving$xHistory 615 0$aTextile fabrics, Ancient$xSocial aspects 615 0$aManuscripts$xHistory 615 0$aWriting$xHistory 676 $a677.009 702 $aHarich-Schwarzbauer$b Henriette 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910465289803321 996 $aWeben und Gewebe in der Antike$92109580 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01206nas 2200373- 450 001 9910447856203321 005 20210826213027.0 011 $a2671-3713 035 $a(OCoLC)1249221537 035 $a(CKB)4100000011870677 035 $a(CONSER)--2021245138 035 $a(DE-599)ZDB3064595-5 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000011870677 100 $a20210410a20069999 --- - 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurbn||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aAICEI Proceedings 210 1$aSkopje, R.N.Macedonia :$cUniversity American College Skopje,$d[2006]- 215 $a1 online resource $cillustrations 606 $aEuropean cooperation$vCongresses 607 $aEurope$xEconomic integration$vCongresses 607 $aEuropean Economic Community countries$xPolitics and government$vCongresses 608 $aSerial publications.$2lcgft 608 $aConference papers and proceedings.$2lcgft 608 $aPeriodicals.$2fast 615 0$aEuropean cooperation 712 02$aUniversity American College Skopje, 906 $aJOURNAL 912 $a9910447856203321 996 $aAICEI Proceedings$92787545 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01228nam 2200373 450 001 9910220083903321 005 20230808194215.0 010 $a0-8330-9576-5 035 $a(CKB)3710000000749387 035 $a(WaSeSS)IndRDA00125603 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000000749387 100 $a20200714d2016 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aTen frequently asked questions about veterans' transitions $eresults of a decade of RAND work on veteran life /$fChristopher Guo, Julia Pollak and Melissa Bauman 210 1$aSanta Monica, California :$cRAND Corporation,$d2016. 215 $a1 online resource (16 pages) 606 $aVeterans$xServices for$zUnited States 606 $aCareer changes$zUnited States 615 0$aVeterans$xServices for 615 0$aCareer changes 676 $a362.860973 700 $aGuo$b Christopher$01132513 702 $aPollak$b Julia 702 $aBauman$b Melissa 801 0$bWaSeSS 801 1$bWaSeSS 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910220083903321 996 $aTen frequently asked questions about veterans' transitions$92974916 997 $aUNINA
