Most of our social interactions involve combining information from both the face and voice of other persons: speech information, but also crucial nonverbal information on the person?s identity and affective state.  The cerebral bases of the multimodal integration of speech have been intensively investigated; by contrast only few studies have focused on nonverbal aspects of face-voice integration. This work highlights recent advances in investigations of the behavioral and cerebral bases of face-voice multimodal integration in the context of person perception, focusing on the integration of affective and identity information. Several research domains are brought together. Behavioral and neuroimaging work in normal adult humans included are presented alongside evidence from other domains to provide complementary perspectives: studies in human children for a developmental perspective, studies in non-human primates for an evolutionary perspective, and studies in human clinical populations for a clinical perspective. 606 $aBiometric identification 606 $aHuman-computer interaction 615 0$aBiometric identification. 615 0$aHuman-computer interaction. 676 $a153.75 701 $aBelin$b Pascal$01749902 701 $aCampanella$b Salvatore$01749903 701 $aEthofer$b Thomas$01749904 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910437619103321 996 $aIntegrating face and voice in person perception$94184364 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01446nam 22004813 450 001 9910163955003321 005 20250605080351.0 010 $a1-61750-862-4 035 $a(CKB)3710000001055725 035 $a(BIP)017813566 035 $a(BIP)042679139 035 $a(VLeBooks)9781617508622 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC32125893 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL32125893 035 $a(OCoLC)1051050856 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000001055725 100 $a20250605d2008 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aBean There, Done That 205 $a1st ed. 210 1$aNEW YORK :$cNancy Yost Literary Agency,$d2008. 210 4$dİ2008. 215 $a1 online resource (184 p.) 225 1 $aA Maggy Thorsen Mystery Series 311 08$a0-7278-6653-2 330 8 $aWhen Maggy Thorsen's ex-husband Ted's new wife disappears, Maggy becomes embroiled in a murder investigation.
