This book provides the first systematic account of this relationship. It develops an analytical framework for understanding the interactions of nationalism and the rule of law by focusing on the domains of citizenship, transitional justice and international justice. The book engages these insights further in a detailed empirical analysis of three case studies from the former Yugoslavia. The author argues that while the tensions and contradictions between nationalism and the rule of law have become more apparent in the post-Cold War era, they can also be harnessed for productive purposes. In exploring the role of law in managing and transforming nationalism, the book emphasises the deliberative character of legal processes and offers an original perspective on the power of international law to reshape public discourse, politics, and legal orders. 517 3 $aNationalism & the Rule of Law 606 $aRule of law$zEurope 606 $aTransitional justice$zEurope 606 $aNationalism$zEurope 606 $aInternational criminal law$zEurope 606 $aYugoslav War, 1991-1995$xLaw and legislation 606 $aTransitional justice$zFormer Yugolsav republics 615 0$aRule of law 615 0$aTransitional justice 615 0$aNationalism 615 0$aInternational criminal law 615 0$aYugoslav War, 1991-1995$xLaw and legislation. 615 0$aTransitional justice 676 $a342.08/3 700 $aRangelov$b Iavor$f1977-$01049459 801 0$bUkCbUP 801 1$bUkCbUP 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910453218903321 996 $aNationalism and the rule of law$92478483 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01051nam 2200373 450 001 9910407740403321 005 20221018110413.0 010 $a1-78984-791-5 035 $a(CKB)4100000011325403 035 $a(NjHacI)994100000011325403 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000011325403 100 $a20221018d2019 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aRetinoblastoma $ePast, Present and Future /$fHind Alkatan, editor 210 1$aLondon :$cIntechOpen,$d[2019] 210 4$dİ2019 215 $a1 online resource (132 pages) $cillustrations 311 $a1-78984-790-7 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references and index. 517 $aRetinoblastoma 606 $aRetinoblastoma 615 0$aRetinoblastoma. 676 $a616.99484 702 $aAlkatan$b Hind 801 0$bNjHacI 801 1$bNjHacl 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910407740403321 996 $aRetinoblastoma$92602442 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03675nam 2200553 450 001 9910815669203321 005 20220929212308.0 010 $a1-5443-5673-0 010 $a1-5443-5674-9 010 $a1-5443-5676-5 010 $a1-5443-5675-7 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6828000 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL6828000 035 $a(CKB)20151525700041 035 $a(OCoLC)1290487441 035 $a(OCoLC)1289606932 035 $a(CaToSAGE)SAGE000014217 035 $a(EXLCZ)9920151525700041 100 $a20220902d2020 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurun||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aChange and continuity in the 2016 and 2018 elections /$fJohn H.
