The leak happens as a result of ageing pipelines or extreme pressure forced by operational error or valve rapid variation. Many factors influence blockage formation in pipes like wax deposition that leads to the formation and eventual growth of solid layers and deposition of suspended solid particles in the fluids. In this book, initially, different categories of leak detection are overviewed. Afterwards, the observability and controllability of pipeline systems are analysed. Control variables can be usually presented by pressure and flow rates at the start and end points of the pipe. Different cases are considered based on the selection of control variables to model the system. Several theorems are presented to test the observability and controllability of the system. In this book, the leakage flow in the pipelines is studied numerically to find the relationship between leakage flow and pressure difference. Removing leakage completely is almost impossible; hence, the development of a formal systematic leakage control policy is the most reliable approach to reducing leakage rates. 410 0$aStudies in systems, decision and control ;$vVolume 321. 606 $aPipelines$xHydrodynamics 606 $aPipelines$xMathematical models 615 0$aPipelines$xHydrodynamics. 615 0$aPipelines$xMathematical models. 676 $a621.8672 700 $aRazvarz$b Sina$01228760 702 $aJafari$b Raheleh 702 $aGegov$b Alexander 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910484132903321 996 $aFlow modelling and control in pipeline systems$92852694 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03090nam 22005535 450 001 9910586579503321 005 20230810133014.0 010 $a981-19-1492-3 024 7 $a10.1007/978-981-19-1492-8 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC7072354 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL7072354 035 $a(CKB)24360915100041 035 $a(DE-He213)978-981-19-1492-8 035 $a(PPN)264194349 035 $a(EXLCZ)9924360915100041 100 $a20220808d2022 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aPlants and Palynomorphs around the Permian-Triassic Boundary of South China /$fedited by Jianxin Yu, Jean Broutin, Zongsheng Lu 205 $a1st ed. 2022. 210 1$aSingapore :$cSpringer Nature Singapore :$cImprint: Springer,$d2022. 215 $a1 online resource (261 pages) 225 1 $aNew Records of the Great Dying in South China,$x2524-4582 311 08$aPrint version: Yu, Jianxin Plants and Palynomorphs Around the Permian-Triassic Boundary of South China Singapore : Springer,c2022 9789811914911 327 $aChapter 1 Literature Review -- Chapter 2 Stratigraphy of the studied sections -- Chapter 3 Materials and methods -- Chapter 4 Late Permian Changhsingian flora in varied palaeogeographic settings in South China -- Chapter 5 Early Triassic Induan flora in varied palaeogeographic settings in South China -- Chapter 6 Palynology across the Permian-Triassic Boundary in South China -- Chapter 7 Extinction Pattern and recovery of the Permian-Triassic Flora in South China -- Chapter 8 Plant and environment co-evolution in Permian-Triassic Transition -- Chapter 9 Systematic Palaeontology -- Chapter 10 Plant Fossils -- Chapter 11 Megaspores -- Chapter 12 Spore and Pollen Fossils. 330 $aThis book documents timely and systematically marvelous fossils (plants and sporopollen) related to the biggest mass extinction of the Permian?Triassic transition. Numerous beautiful pictures and comprehensive records on the plants of this unique and critical interval of geohistory are presented in this book. It greatly contributes to understanding of the Permian?Triassic plant diversity and evolution. For geologists, it is important to understand the Permian?Triassic crisis, and for students, it is attractive to learn about the plants? response to palaeoclimatic changes. 410 0$aNew Records of the Great Dying in South China,$x2524-4582 606 $aPaleontology 606 $aPlants$xEvolution 606 $aPaleontology 606 $aPlant Evolution 615 0$aPaleontology. 615 0$aPlants$xEvolution. 615 14$aPaleontology. 615 24$aPlant Evolution. 676 $a561.13 702 $aYu$b Jianxin 702 $aBroutin$b Jean 702 $aLu$b Zongsheng 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910586579503321 996 $aPlants and Palynomorphs around the Permian-Triassic Boundary of South China$93060614 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02944nam 22006015 450 001 9910392717803321 005 20200703152823.0 010 $a981-13-7103-2 024 7 $a10.1007/978-981-13-7103-5 035 $a(CKB)4100000011034844 035 $a(DE-He213)978-981-13-7103-5 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6175313 035 $a(PPN)24375969X 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000011034844 100 $a20200414d2020 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurnn|008mamaa 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aAtlas of Quaternary Pollen and Spores in China /$fedited by Lingyu Tang, Limi Mao, Junwu Shu, Chunhai Li, Caiming Shen, Zhongze Zhou 205 $a1st ed. 2020. 210 1$aSingapore :$cSpringer Singapore :$cImprint: Springer,$d2020. 215 $a1 online resource (XV, 578 p. 517 illus., 474 illus. in color.) 311 $a981-13-7102-4 327 $aOverview of modern and Quaternary vegetation in China -- Major types of Quaternary pollen and spores and their characteristics in different regions of China -- Plates and descriptions of Quaternary pollen and spores in different regions of China. 330 $aThis book provides an important reference guide to pollen and spore identification for Chinese Quaternary palynological studies.
