Tutors' voices were largely absent from education literature, yet, they are charged with providing a holistic education to disenfranchised young people, and they have artfully re-engaged many of their students into learning. This monograph presents the author?s poetic inquiry methodology and methods that are intended to inspire others to take risks using arts-based educational research. Based on in-depth interviews, field work, and a performative workshop with tutor participants, the author created more than 200 poems. Drawing on these poetic findings, 21 constellations of tutor essences were created. From these, the tutor emerges as an holistic educator, whose pedagogies offer a conceptual foundation on which future training and development of tutors can build, and from which conventional schools can learn inclusive ways of working with all students. 410 0$aSpringerBriefs in Arts-Based Educational Research,$x2524-7514 606 $aAlternative education 606 $aTeachers$xTraining of 606 $aCommunity development 606 $aSocial service 606 $aArt$xStudy and teaching 606 $aEducation$xResearch 606 $aAlternative Education 606 $aTeaching and Teacher Education 606 $aSocial Work and Community Development 606 $aCreativity and Arts Education 606 $aResearch Methods in Education 615 0$aAlternative education. 615 0$aTeachers$xTraining of. 615 0$aCommunity development. 615 0$aSocial service. 615 0$aArt$xStudy and teaching. 615 0$aEducation$xResearch. 615 14$aAlternative Education. 615 24$aTeaching and Teacher Education. 615 24$aSocial Work and Community Development. 615 24$aCreativity and Arts Education. 615 24$aResearch Methods in Education. 676 $a371.394 700 $aSchoone$b Adrian$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0972295 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910380755703321 996 $aConstellations of Alternative Education Tutors$92210806 997 $aUNINA
