The presented ICA is generic in nature but aimed at a case study where a marine surface craft and an underwater vehicle are required to work cooperatively. It is shown that they are capable of cooperating autonomously towards the execution of complex activities since they have different but complementary capabilities. The ICA implementation is verified in simulation, and validated in trials by means of a team of autonomous marine robots. This book also presents architectural details and evaluation scenarios of the ICA, results of simulations and trials from different maritime operations, and future research directions. 410 0$aStudies in Systems, Decision and Control,$x2198-4182 ;$v29 606 $aComputational intelligence 606 $aRobotics 606 $aAutomation 606 $aAutomatic control 606 $aComputational Intelligence$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/T11014 606 $aRobotics and Automation$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/T19020 606 $aControl and Systems Theory$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/T19010 615 0$aComputational intelligence. 615 0$aRobotics. 615 0$aAutomation. 615 0$aAutomatic control. 615 14$aComputational Intelligence. 615 24$aRobotics and Automation. 615 24$aControl and Systems Theory. 676 $a006.3 676 $a620 676 $a629.8 676 $a629.892 700 $aInsaurralde$b Carlos C$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0739912 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910299835703321 996 $aIntelligent Autonomy for Unmanned Marine Vehicles$91466124 997 $aUNINA
