We continue to struggle with the challenge of holding highly selective meetings such as IDEAS with an increasing number of for-profit conferences which use the all invited paper or plenary speaker approach with papers guaranteed to be accepted. In spite of this challenges, we continue in getting very interesting papers with new approaches and ideas. This allows us to continue to be selective.
