The Physiologus was the first Christian text to sum up a general understanding of nature using biblical and pagan sources and it has an extensive reception history throughout the medieval period. Its symbolic use of animals and plants, etc., has deeply influenced visual arts, literature, and heraldry, but this visual language often remains enigmatic. This book, going back to a project of the Swiss National Foundation (Das ?Evangelium der Natur?. Der griechische Physiologus und die Wurzeln der frühchristlichen Naturdeutung) offers new insights into the origins and the interpretation of this symbolic language. 410 0$aStudies of the Bible and Its Reception (SBR) 606 $aThe Early Church$2bicssc 606 $aChurch history$2bicssc 606 $aAncient religions & mythologies$2bicssc 608 $aCriticism, interpretation, etc.$2fast 610 $aPhysiologus. 610 $afacsimile. 610 $anatural history. 610 $asymbolism. 615 7$aThe Early Church 615 7$aChurch history 615 7$aAncient religions & mythologies 676 $a883/.0108 700 $aKindschi Garský$b Zbyn?k$4edt$01429905 702 $aHirsch-Luipold$b Rainer$f1967- 702 $aKindschi Garský$b Zbyn?k$4edt 712 02$aSchweizerischer Nationalfonds (SNF) 801 0$bDE-B1597 801 1$bDE-B1597 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910372749903321 996 $aChristus in natura$93569502 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03679nam 2200733 a 450 001 9910959430903321 005 20240416183214.0 010 $a9781907655692 010 $a1907655697 010 $a9781898683742 010 $a1898683743 035 $a(CKB)2670000000346242 035 $a(EBL)3329155 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000647243 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)12248316 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000647243 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10594029 035 $a(PQKB)10739339 035 $a(SSID)ssj0001045211 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)12408465 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001045211 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)11111990 035 $a(PQKB)11713007 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL3329155 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10365215 035 $a(OCoLC)929120066 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC3329155 035 $a(Perlego)1974874 035 $a(EXLCZ)992670000000346242 100 $a20050826d2004 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 00$aPrechtl's method on the qualitative assessment of general movements in preterm, term and young infants /$fChrista Einspieler ... His method is described in this book.GMs form part of a distinct pattern of movements in preterm babies, term newborns and young infants. They are complex, frequent, and usually of sufficient length. Changes in the normal quality of GMs are a reliable indicator of brain dysfunction. 606 $aPremature infants$xDiseases$xDiagnosis 606 $aInfants$xDiseases$xDiagnosis 606 $aNeurologic examination 615 0$aPremature infants$xDiseases$xDiagnosis. 615 0$aInfants$xDiseases$xDiagnosis. 615 0$aNeurologic examination. 676 $a618.92836075 701 $aEinspieler$b Christa$01793693 701 $aPrechtl$b Heinz F.
