The scope of the conference included a wide range of topics in renewable energy technology, with a major focus on biomass, solar energy and geothermal energy, but also extending to heat pumps, fuel cells, wind energy, energy storage, and the modelling and optimization of renewable energy systems. This edition of the conference had a special focus on the role of renewable energy in reduction the air pollution in the Eastern Europe region. Traditionally this conference is a unique occasion for gathering Polish and international researchers? perspectives on renewable energy sources, and furthermore of balancing them against governmental policy considerations. Accordingly, the conference offered also panels to discuss best practices and solutions with local entrepreneurs and federal government bodies. The meeting attracts not only scientist but also industry representatives as well as local and federal government members. This edition of the conference was organized by the University of Agriculture in Krakow in cooperation with AGH University of Science and Technology (Krakow), University of ?ilina, Silesian University of Technology, International Commission of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (CIGR) and Polish Society of Agricultural Engineering. Honorary auspices were given by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education Republic of Poland, Rector of the University of Agriculture in Krakow and Rector of the AGH University of Science and Technology. . 410 0$aSpringer Proceedings in Energy,$x2352-2534 606 $aThermodynamics 606 $aHeat engineering 606 $aHeat$xTransmission 606 $aMass transfer 606 $aEnvironmental engineering 606 $aBiotechnology 606 $aRenewable energy resources 606 $aEnergy systems 606 $aEngineering Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/T14000 606 $aEnvironmental Engineering/Biotechnology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/U33000 606 $aRenewable and Green Energy$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/111000 606 $aEnergy Systems$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/115000 615 0$aThermodynamics. 615 0$aHeat engineering. 615 0$aHeat$xTransmission. 615 0$aMass transfer. 615 0$aEnvironmental engineering. 615 0$aBiotechnology. 615 0$aRenewable energy resources. 615 0$aEnergy systems. 615 14$aEngineering Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer. 615 24$aEnvironmental Engineering/Biotechnology. 615 24$aRenewable and Green Energy. 615 24$aEnergy Systems. 676 $a333.79 676 $a333.79 702 $aWróbel$b Marek$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aJewiarz$b Marcin$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aSzl?k$b Andrzej$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910367239903321 996 $aRenewable Energy Sources: Engineering, Technology, Innovation$91933354 997 $aUNINA
