Circular economy (CE) is important towards sustainable development, resources circulation and conservation, involving closing of material loops and cascading used resources, to prevent waste occurrence, and transforming the resulting residual streams into new (secondary) resources. Strategies and legislative framework for waste management are important steps for development of a more CE where resource efficiency becomes the key driver for both economic growth and environmental protections. A few countries achieved good results implementing CE as a replacement of the linear economy. Resource managers and planners should thoroughly identify factors to implement CE for societal benefits. This book presents how resource consumption is minimized with rational use based on 3Rs, legislative framework and government supports towards implementing CE initiatives, example of best practices, future plans and targets in different countries those are helpful for researchers, planners and implementers. 606 $aWaste management 606 $aEnergy policy 606 $aEnergy policy 606 $aSustainable development 606 $aEconomic policy 606 $aPollution prevention 606 $aAir$xPollution 606 $aWaste Management/Waste Technology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/U31001 606 $aEnergy Policy, Economics and Management$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/112000 606 $aSustainable Development$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/U34000 606 $aEconomic Policy$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/W34010 606 $aIndustrial Pollution Prevention$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/U35020 606 $aAtmospheric Protection/Air Quality Control/Air Pollution$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/U35010 615 0$aWaste management. 615 0$aEnergy policy. 615 0$aEnergy policy. 615 0$aSustainable development. 615 0$aEconomic policy. 615 0$aPollution prevention. 615 0$aAir$xPollution. 615 14$aWaste Management/Waste Technology. 615 24$aEnergy Policy, Economics and Management. 615 24$aSustainable Development. 615 24$aEconomic Policy. 615 24$aIndustrial Pollution Prevention. 615 24$aAtmospheric Protection/Air Quality Control/Air Pollution. 676 $a363.728 676 $a628.4 702 $aGhosh$b Sadhan Kumar$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910366637103321 996 $aCircular Economy: Global Perspective$92163227 997 $aUNINA
