Their underlying theoretical mechanism of spontaneous symmetry breaking is even more general and applies to a multitude of physical systems.  In these lecture notes, a pedagogical introduction to the field-theory approach to superfluidity is presented. The connection to more traditional approaches, often formulated in a different language, is carefully explained in order to provide a consistent picture that is useful for students and researchers in all fields of physics. After introducing the basic concepts, such as the two-fluid model and the Goldstone mode, selected topics of current research are addressed, such as the BCS-BEC crossover and Cooper pairing with mismatched Fermi momenta. 410 0$aLecture Notes in Physics,$x0075-8450 ;$v888 606 $aSuperconductivity 606 $aSuperconductors 606 $aPhase transformations (Statistical physics) 606 $aCondensed materials 606 $aQuantum physics 606 $aStrongly Correlated Systems, Superconductivity$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P25064 606 $aQuantum Gases and Condensates$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P24033 606 $aQuantum Physics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P19080 615 0$aSuperconductivity. 615 0$aSuperconductors. 615 0$aPhase transformations (Statistical physics). 615 0$aCondensed materials. 615 0$aQuantum physics. 615 14$aStrongly Correlated Systems, Superconductivity. 615 24$aQuantum Gases and Condensates. 615 24$aQuantum Physics. 676 $a530.42 700 $aSchmitt$b Andreas$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0515327 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996213702203316 996 $aIntroduction to Superfluidity$92182306 997 $aUNISA LEADER 04599nam 22006975 450 001 9910483483903321 005 20240322014301.0 010 $a9783319894089 010 $a3319894080 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-319-89408-9 035 $a(CKB)4100000009522840 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5945090 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-319-89408-9 035 $a(Perlego)3493286 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000009522840 100 $a20191014d2019 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aBiography and History in Film /$fedited by Thomas S. To do this, contributors examine the context in which certain biographical films were made, including the state of knowledge about their subjects at that moment, and what these films reveal about the values and purposes of those who created them. This is an original approach to biographical (as opposed to historical) films and one that has so far played little part in the growing literature on historical films. The films discussed here date from the 1920s to the 2010s, and deal with males and females in periods ranging from the Middle Ages to the end of the twentieth century. In the process, the book discusses how biographical films reflect changing attitudes towards issues such as race, gender and sexuality, and examines the influence of these films on popular perceptions of the past. The introduction analyses the nature of biographical filmsas a genre: it compares and contrasts the nature of biography on film with written biographies, and considers their relationship with the discipline of history. As the first collection of essays on this popular but understudied genre, this book will be of interest to historians as well as those in film and cultural studies. . 410 0$aPalgrave Studies in the History of the Media,$x2634-6583 606 $aCivilization$xHistory 606 $aMotion pictures$xHistory 606 $aHistory, Modern 606 $aCommunication 606 $aSocial history 606 $aCultural History 606 $aFilm and TV History 606 $aModern History 606 $aMedia and Communication 606 $aSocial History 615 0$aCivilization$xHistory. 615 0$aMotion pictures$xHistory. 615 0$aHistory, Modern. 615 0$aCommunication. 615 0$aSocial history. 615 14$aCultural History. 615 24$aFilm and TV History. 615 24$aModern History. 615 24$aMedia and Communication. 615 24$aSocial History. 676 $a791.43658 702 $aFreeman$b Thomas S$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aSmith$b David L$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910483483903321 996 $aBiography and History in Film$92843920 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02993oam 2200637 c 450 001 9910359556803321 005 20251202090341.0 010 $a9783847408765 010 $a3847408763 024 3 $a9783847408765 035 $a(CKB)4330000000532411 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5450334 035 $a(Verlag Barbara Budrich)9783847408765 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/30951 035 $a(ScCtBLL)3ddeb938-53e0-42e8-92d5-08782eaf10f2 035 $a(OCoLC)1163829569 035 $a(EXLCZ)994330000000532411 100 $a20251202h20152016 uy 0 101 0 $ager 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aZISU 4 - ebook $eEmpirische Beiträge aus Erziehungswissenschaft und Fachdidaktik /$fUlrich Gebhard, Merle Hummrich, Kerstin Rabenstein, Sabine Rah 205 $a1st ed. 210 $aLeverkusen$cVerlag Barbara Budrich$d2015 210 $d2015, c2016 215 $a1 online resource (155 pages) 225 0 $aZISU ? For a long time, teaching has been examined exclusively as discourse, but all teaching also requires a subject-related and didactic approach to material things. In the new volume of the journal "ZISU", the authors ask from the perspective of educational science and didactic teaching research how things are used in class, how they become material matters of class and how they change in class, and what significance things have for the constitution of learning situations. 606 $aDinge 606 $aSubject Cultures 606 $aFachkulturen 606 $aThings in teaching 606 $aMaterialitäten 606 $aMaterialities 615 4$aDinge 615 4$aSubject Cultures 615 4$aFachkulturen 615 4$aThings in teaching 615 4$aMaterialitäten 615 4$aMaterialities 676 $a370.72 700 $aGebhard$b Ulrich$cProf. Dr.$4aut$01205098 702 $aHummrich$b Merle$cProf. Dr.$4aut 702 $aRabenstein$b Kerstin$cProf. Dr.$4aut 702 $aRah$b Sabine$4aut 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910359556803321 996 $aZISU 4 - ebook$94415390 997 $aUNINA
