Knowledge Sharing and the Sharing Economy in India -- Index. 330 $aThis open access book analyses intellectual property and innovation governance in the development of six key industries in India and China. These industries are reflective of the innovation and economic development of the two economies, or of vital importance to them: the IT Industry, the film industry, the pharmaceutical industry, plant varieties and food security, the automobile industry, and the sharing economy. The analysis extends beyond the domain of IP law, and includes economics and policy analysis. The overarching concerns of the book are how the examined industries have developed in the two countries, what role state innovation policy and/or IP policy has played in such development, what the nature of the state innovation policy/IP policy is, whether such policy has been causal, facilitating, crippling, co-relational, or simply irrelevant, and whether there is a possibility of synergy between the two economies. The book also inquires as to why and how one specific industry has developed in one country and not in the other, and what India and China can learn from each other. The book provides a real-life understanding of how IP laws interact with innovation and economic development in the six selected economic sectors in China and India. The reader can also draw lessons from the success or failure of these sectors. 410 0$aARCIALA Series on Intellectual Assets and Law in Asia,$x2523-708X 606 $aMass media 606 $aLaw 606 $aManagement 606 $aIndustrial management 606 $aDevelopment economics 606 $aInternational law 606 $aTrade 606 $aIT Law, Media Law, Intellectual Property$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/R15009 606 $aInnovation/Technology Management$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/518000 606 $aDevelopment Economics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/W42000 606 $aInternational Economic Law, Trade Law$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/R19050 610 $aLaw 610 $aMass media 610 $aManagement 610 $aIndustrial management 610 $aDevelopment economics 610 $aInternational law 610 $aTrade 615 0$aMass media. 615 0$aLaw. 615 0$aManagement. 615 0$aIndustrial management. 615 0$aDevelopment economics. 615 0$aInternational law. 615 0$aTrade. 615 14$aIT Law, Media Law, Intellectual Property. 615 24$aInnovation/Technology Management. 615 24$aDevelopment Economics. 615 24$aInternational Economic Law, Trade Law. 676 $a343.099 700 $aLiu$b Kung-Chung$4edt$01355604 702 $aLiu$b Kung-Chung$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aRacherla$b Uday S$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910350242403321 996 $aInnovation, Economic Development, and Intellectual Property in India and China$93359750 997 $aUNINA
