The volume contains a critical edition of the Latin text, entitled The Book of My Days in Lucca , an English translation, commentary notes and an introduction. Caroli presents us with his powerful personal reaction to the institutional crisis regarding the required reform in the Dominican Order, yet even here we already notice the pervasive influence of his classical education, and especially his acquaintance with authors such as Cicero, Livy, Tacitus, and especially Virgil. 410 0$aThe Renaissance Society of America$v10. 606 $aChristianity and religious humanism$vEarly works to 1800 606 $aHumanism$zItaly$zFlorence$xHistory$vEarly works to 1800 606 $aManuscripts, Latin$zItaly$zFlorence 606 $aManuscripts, Renaissance$zItaly$zFlorence 607 $aLucca (Italy)$xReligion$vEarly works to 1800 615 0$aChristianity and religious humanism 615 0$aHumanism$xHistory 615 0$aManuscripts, Latin 615 0$aManuscripts, Renaissance 676 $a261.5/1094551 700 $aCaroli$b Giovanni$f1428-1503.$01627017 701 $aEdelheit$b Amos$0786107 701 2$aCaroli$b Giovanni$f1428-1503.$01627017 701 2$aCaroli$b Giovanni$f1428-1503.$01627017 801 0$bNL-LeKB 801 1$bNL-LeKB 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910827098203321 996 $aHumanism, theology, and spiritual crisis in Renaissance Florence$93963393 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02699nam 2200397z- 450 001 9910346842603321 005 20210211 010 $a3-03897-635-0 035 $a(CKB)4920000000095214 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/45007 035 $a(oapen)doab45007 035 $a(EXLCZ)994920000000095214 100 $a20202102d2019 |y 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurmn|---annan 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aDiagnostic, Prognostic and Predictive Biological Markers in Bladder Cancer - Illumination of a Vision 210 $cMDPI - Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute$d2019 215 $a1 online resource (202 p.) 311 08$a3-03897-634-2 330 $aThis Special Issue has been introduced with the aim of offering the possibility to publish new research results from old and new pioneers in the field of bladder cancer basic research. While editing this Special Issue we learned that an enormous enthusiasm is necessary to go on in bladder cancer research. In our eyes, bladder cancer is on one hand a very heterogenous malignancy, which is what makes it so difficult to focus on only one bladder cancer marker in bladder cancer diagnostics and follow-up. On the other hand, it is very important to find prognostic and predictive factors for bladder cancer due to its high incidence and its enormous costs, as one of the most expensive malignancies in the world. Finding and developing new bladder cancer markers is still a very dynamic field. Because there are many of these markers, it is impossible to report all of them. This Special Issue attempts to highlight the role of bladder cancer markers in diagnosis, and the most important biomarkers that have been recently studied and reported. This Special Issue highlights some of the most important markers. Further determination of recurrence and progression markers will contribute to establishing better treatments for individual patients. Molecular staging of urological tumors will allow the selection of cases that will require systemic treatment. It is necessary and important to integrate basic and clinical research under the same objectives. 606 $aMedicine$2bicssc 610 $aBladder cancer 610 $adiagnostics 610 $amolecular biology 610 $atumor markers 615 7$aMedicine 676 $a616.99/462 702 $aEcke$b Thorsten Holger$f1972- 702 $aOtto$b Thomas$cProf. Dr., 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910346842603321 996 $aDiagnostic, prognostic and predictive biological markers in bladder cancer$93401072 997 $aUNINA
