We invited authors to submit their theoretical or experimental research presenting engineering and economic problem solution models dealing with the symmetry or asymmetry of different types of information. The issue gained interest in the research community and received many submissions. After rigorous scientific evaluation by editors and reviewers, nine papers were accepted and published. The authors proposed different MADM and MODM solution models as integrated tools to find a balance between the components of sustainable global development, to find a symmetry axis concerning goals, risks, and constraints to cope with the complicated problems. Most approaches suggested decision models under uncertainty, combining the usual decision-making methods with interval-valued fuzzy or rough sets theory, also Z numbers. The application fields of the proposed models involved both problems of technological sciences and social sciences. The papers cover three essential areas: engineering, economy, and management. We hope that a summary of the Special Issue as provided here will encourage a detailed analysis of the papers included in the Printed Edition. 610 $arough sets 610 $ainterval type-2 fuzzy set (IT2FS) 610 $aresources distribution 610 $athe criteria of the weights 610 $apublic management 610 $aStep-wise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA) 610 $amulti-criteria decision-making (MCDM) 610 $asymmetry of the method 610 $aquadcopter 610 $atransaction cost 610 $afull fuzzy environment 610 $adual generalized geometric Bonferroni mean (DGGBM) operator 610 $adata logger 610 $ainformation theory 610 $acontrol system 610 $asalvage value 610 $anonlinear dynamics 610 $apattern formation 610 $aoscillations 610 $astability 610 $aPythagorean fuzzy set 610 $aFAHP 610 $afuzzy sets 610 $agroup decision-making 610 $ageneralized Bonferroni mean (GBM) operator 610 $aprobabilistic systems analysis 610 $aeconomic decisions 610 $a2-tuple linguistic neutrosophic numbers set (2TLNNSs) 610 $aevaluating the quality of distant courses 610 $asubjective weights 610 $aZ-numbers 610 $agreen supplier selection 610 $adual generalized Bonferroni mean (DGBM) operator 610 $anormal cloud 610 $athrust 610 $asensor 610 $aneutrosophic numbers 610 $aMCDM 610 $aBayes? theorem 610 $aoptimal dividend 610 $alogistics 610 $ameasurement 610 $ahybrid MCDM 610 $acombining the weights 610 $adata envelopment analysis 610 $acriteria weights 610 $amultiple attribute decision making (MADM) 610 $aIDOCRIW 610 $aexcess-of-loss reinsurance 610 $afuzzy efficiency 610 $amultiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) 610 $aMCGDM 610 $atransport 610 $abackward cloud transformation 610 $aengineering problems 610 $arough ARAS 610 $acapital injection 610 $aperformance 610 $aBonferroni mean (BM) operator 610 $agreen supply chain management 610 $apopulation sizes 610 $ahybrid problem solution models 610 $acriteria weight assessment 700 $aAntuchevi?ien?$b Jurgita$4auth$01294171 702 $aTurskis$b Zenonas$4auth 702 $aZavadskas$b Edmundas Kazimieras$4auth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910346836403321 996 $aSolution Models based on Symmetric and Asymmetric Information$93028064 997 $aUNINA
