Te?rminos como library, migration, card, board, storage, memory, a menudo transfieren parte de su significado general al vocabulario especializado, dando lugar a imprecisiones de tipo sema?ntico. En esta obra se estudian tres de los feno?menos que causan dicha confusio?n: los calcos sema?nticos, la sinonimia y la polisemia. Se ofrece un ana?lisis contextualizado de diferentes te?rminos y se proponen soluciones alternativas a la traduccio?n. Raquel Victoria Lo?pez es licenciada en Filologi?a Inglesa y ha realizado estudios de Doctorado en Traduccio?n e Interpretacio?n en la Universidad de Alicante.
