The Ankarana is surrounded by native Madagascan rain forest inhabited with lemurs and it was a natural shelter for the Ankarana people whose kings were buried in caves. The cave system has been partially explored since the sixties and exploration is still in progress. The book includes several maps (geology, topography, hydrology), the survey of the caves and a brief description of the Ankarana Kingdom. 410 0$aCave and Karst Systems of the World,$x2364-4591 606 $aGeomorphology 606 $aGeology 606 $aHydrogeology 606 $aEthnology 606 $aGeomorphology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/J16010 606 $aGeology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/G17002 606 $aHydrogeology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/G19005 606 $aEthnography$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/X12060 615 0$aGeomorphology. 615 0$aGeology. 615 0$aHydrogeology. 615 0$aEthnology. 615 14$aGeomorphology. 615 24$aGeology. 615 24$aHydrogeology. 615 24$aEthnography. 676 $a556.981 700 $aGilli$b Eric$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0448121 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910337924003321 996 $aThe Ankarana Plateau in Madagascar$92089791 997 $aUNINA
