Economic crisis and digitalization have exacerbated a crisis in those categories of thought and political action that previously allowed us to discuss?and problematize?vulnerability in employment in terms of unfairness, inequality, and inadequate protection. Engaging with the deconstruction of traditional employment as a central category for theorizing the phenomenon of work, this volume explores the new semantic fields and territories that have become available for theorising, understanding, and regulating employment. These new linguistic categories have implications beyond language alone: they produce a reformulation of the conventional wisdom concerning the whole category of waged employment (aspects previously taken for granted as to the meaning of work and of being ?a worker?), as well as other closely associated categories such as unemployment, self-employment, or inactivity. 606 $aIndustrial sociology 606 $aEconomic sociology 606 $aLabor economics 606 $aEurope?Economic conditions 606 $aLanguage and languages?Philosophy 606 $aSociology of Work 606 $aEconomic Sociology 606 $aLabor Economics 606 $aEuropean Economics 606 $aPhilosophy of Language 615 0$aIndustrial sociology. 615 0$aEconomic sociology. 615 0$aLabor economics. 615 0$aEurope?Economic conditions. 615 0$aLanguage and languages?Philosophy. 615 14$aSociology of Work. 615 24$aEconomic Sociology. 615 24$aLabor Economics. 615 24$aEuropean Economics. 615 24$aPhilosophy of Language. 676 $a306.36 702 $aSerrano-Pascual$b Amparo$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aJepsen$b Maria$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910337697003321 996 $aThe Deconstruction of Employment as a Political Question$92495304 997 $aUNINA
