We estimate the distance between the equilibrium and the actual real exchange rates using three methods: the macroeconomic balance approach, the external sustainability approach, and the reduced-form equilibrium real exchange rate approach. These methods suggest that in the medium term the real exchange rate is only slightly overvalued. We also carry out a comparative analysis of nonprice indicators and find that Madagascar performs less favorably than its competitors on structural competitiveness. 410 0$aIMF Working Papers; Working Paper ;$vNo. 2009/107 606 $aCompetition$zMadagascar 606 $aForeign exchange rates$zMadagascar 606 $aExports and Imports$2imf 606 $aFinance: General$2imf 606 $aForeign Exchange$2imf 606 $aGeneral Financial Markets: General (includes Measurement and Data)$2imf 606 $aTrade: General$2imf 606 $aCurrency$2imf 606 $aForeign exchange$2imf 606 $aFinance$2imf 606 $aInternational economics$2imf 606 $aExchange rates$2imf 606 $aReal effective exchange rates$2imf 606 $aCompetition$2imf 606 $aReal exchange rates$2imf 606 $aExport performance$2imf 606 $aExports$2imf 607 $aMadagascar, Republic of$2imf 615 0$aCompetition 615 0$aForeign exchange rates 615 7$aExports and Imports 615 7$aFinance: General 615 7$aForeign Exchange 615 7$aGeneral Financial Markets: General (includes Measurement and Data) 615 7$aTrade: General 615 7$aCurrency 615 7$aForeign exchange 615 7$aFinance 615 7$aInternational economics 615 7$aExchange rates 615 7$aReal effective exchange rates 615 7$aCompetition 615 7$aReal exchange rates 615 7$aExport performance 615 7$aExports 700 $aEyraud$b Luc$01103642 712 02$aInternational Monetary Fund. 801 0$bDcWaIMF 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910788335403321 996 $aMadagascar$93685559 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04386nam 22006855 450 001 9910337574603321 005 20251225193532.0 010 $a3-030-14094-6 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-030-14094-6 035 $a(CKB)4100000007656502 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-030-14094-6 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5921991 035 $a(PPN)23500412X 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000007656502 100 $a20190214d2019 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurnn#008mamaa 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aAlgorithms for Sensor Systems $e14th International Symposium on Algorithms and Experiments for Wireless Sensor Networks, ALGOSENSORS 2018, Helsinki, Finland, August 23?24, 2018, Revised Selected Papers /$fedited by Seth Gilbert, Danny Hughes, Bhaskar Krishnamachari 205 $a1st ed. 2019. 210 1$aCham :$cSpringer International Publishing :$cImprint: Springer,$d2019. 215 $a1 online resource (X, 235 p. 66 illus., 47 illus. in color.) 225 1 $aComputer Communication Networks and Telecommunications,$x2945-9184 ;$v11410 311 08$a3-030-14093-8 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references and index. 327 $aLocal Gossip and Neighbour Discovery in Mobile Ad Hoc Radio Networks -- Competitive Routing in Hybrid Communication Networks -- On the Approximability and Hardness of the Minimum Connected Dominating Set with Routing Cost Constraint -- On the Maximum Connectivity Improvement problem -- Average Case - Worst Case Tradeoffs for Evacuating 2 Robots from the Disk in the Face-to-Face Model -- Mutual Visibility by Asynchronous Robots on Infinite Grid -- Optimal Gathering by Asynchronous Oblivious Robots in Hypercubes -- Barrier Coverage Problem in 2D -- Time- and Energy-aware Task Scheduling in Environmentally-powered Sensor Networks -- Mobility-Aware, Adaptive Algorithms for Wireless Power Transfer in Ad Hoc Networks -- Distributed leader election and computation of local identifiers for programmable matter -- Reaching Consensus in Ad-Hoc Diffusion Networks -- Filling Arbitrary Connected Areas by Silent Robots with Minimum Visibility Range -- BSLoc: Base Station ID-based Telco Outdoor Localization -- Orientation Estimation using Filter-Based Inertial Data Fusion for Posture Recognition. 330 $aThis book constitutes revised selected papers from the 14th International Symposium on Algorithms and Experiments for Wireless Sensor Networks, ALGOSENSORS 2018, held in Helsinki, Finland, in August 2018. The 15 full papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 39 submissions. ALGOSENSORS is an international symposium dedicated to the algorithmic aspects of wireless networks. Originally focused on sensor networks, it now covers algorithmic issues arising in wireless networks of all types of computational entities, static or mobile, including sensor networks, sensor-actuator networks, autonomous robots. The focus is on the design and analysis of algorithms, models of computation, and experimental analysis. 410 0$aComputer Communication Networks and Telecommunications,$x2945-9184 ;$v11410 606 $aAlgorithms 606 $aArtificial intelligence$xData processing 606 $aComputer science$xMathematics 606 $aDiscrete mathematics 606 $aArtificial intelligence 606 $aAlgorithms 606 $aData Science 606 $aDiscrete Mathematics in Computer Science 606 $aArtificial Intelligence 615 0$aAlgorithms. 615 0$aArtificial intelligence$xData processing. 615 0$aComputer science$xMathematics. 615 0$aDiscrete mathematics. 615 0$aArtificial intelligence. 615 14$aAlgorithms. 615 24$aData Science. 615 24$aDiscrete Mathematics in Computer Science. 615 24$aArtificial Intelligence. 676 $a005.1 676 $a006.25 702 $aGilbert$b Seth$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aHughes$b Danny$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aKrishnamachari$b Bhaskar$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910337574603321 996 $aAlgorithms for Sensor Systems$92569913 997 $aUNINA
