Between the 1970s and the 2000s, during times of peace and prosperity, affluent countries-like Belgium, Greece, Italy, and Japan-accumulated so much debt that they became vulnerable and exposed themselves to the risk of default. In the past three decades, an extensive scholarly consensus emerged that these problems were created by fiscal indiscipline, the lack of sufficient concern for budgetary constraints from policy makers as they try to please voters. This approach formed the foundation for the fiscal surveillance system that attempted to bring borrowing in European countries under control via a set of fiscal rules. In the Red demonstrates that the problem of sustained, large-scale debt accumulation is an adjustment issue rather than a governance failure. Irrespective of whether the original impetus for borrowing arose from exogenous changes or irresponsible decision making, policy makers invariably initiate spending cuts and/or tax increases when debt grows at an alarming rate for several years in a row. Zso?fia Barta argues that explaining why some countries accumulate substantial amounts of debt for decades hinges on understanding the conditions required to allow policy makers to successfully put into place painful adjustment measures. 517 3 $aPolitics of public debt accumulation in developed countries 606 $aDebts, Public$zDeveloped countries 607 $aDeveloped countries$xForeign economic relations 615 0$aDebts, Public 676 $a336.3/4091722 686 $aBUS069000$aPOL000000$2bisacsh 700 $aBarta$b Zso?fia$0849906 712 02$aMichigan Publishing (University of Michigan) 801 0$bMiU 801 1$bMiU 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910263844403321 996 $aIn the red$91897764 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04169nam 22006255 450 001 9910337477003321 005 20200701182141.0 010 $a3-030-05538-8 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-030-05538-7 035 $a(CKB)4100000007758159 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5723085 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-030-05538-7 035 $a(PPN)235234109 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000007758159 100 $a20190301d2019 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aJoint Denervation $eAn Atlas of Surgical Techniques /$fby A. This book avails the knowledge of how denervation can relieve joint pain available to the many groups of physicians who care for this problem. Each chapter is devoted to a joint and reviews the neural anatomy as it relates to the clinical examination of the patient. Chapters are user friendly and provide details on the indicated nerve blocks and the clinical results of partial joint denervation. Clinical case studies also serve as a helpful guide in each chapter. Extensive intra-operative clinical photographs and photographs from new prosections provide examples to guide those physicians providing care to the patients with joint pain. Joint Denervation: Anatomic Atlas of Surgical Technique should be of interest to surgical subspecialists from Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Hand Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Podiatric Foot & Ankle Surgery, and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. It may also interest those physicians trained in Anesthesia, Radiology, and Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine for their evaluation and treatment protocols using hydrodissection, cryoablation and pulsed radiofrequency approaches to pain. 606 $aNervous system$xSurgery 606 $aHand?Surgery 606 $aSurgery, Plastic 606 $aMouth$xSurgery 606 $aMaxillofacial surgery 606 $aPain medicine 606 $aNeurosurgery$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H39000 606 $aHand Surgery$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H59140 606 $aPlastic Surgery$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H59087 606 $aOral and Maxillofacial Surgery$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H59060 606 $aPain Medicine$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H47003 615 0$aNervous system$xSurgery. 615 0$aHand?Surgery. 615 0$aSurgery, Plastic. 615 0$aMouth$xSurgery. 615 0$aMaxillofacial surgery. 615 0$aPain medicine. 615 14$aNeurosurgery. 615 24$aHand Surgery. 615 24$aPlastic Surgery. 615 24$aOral and Maxillofacial Surgery. 615 24$aPain Medicine. 676 $a617.472 700 $aDellon$b A.
