It also proposes new heat transfer correlations for laminar, transition and turbulent flows. A large part of the book is devoted to experimental testing of heat exchangers, and methods for assessing the indirect measurement uncertainty are presented. Further, it describes a new method for parallel determination of the Nusselt number correlations on both sides of the tube walls based on the nonlinear least squares method and presents the application of computational fluid dynamic (CFD) modeling to determine the air-side Nusselt number correlations. Lastly, it develops a control system based on the mathematical model of the car radiator and compares this with the digital proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller. The book is intended for students, academics and researchers, as well as for designers and manufacturers of heat exchangers. 410 0$aStudies in Systems, Decision and Control,$x2198-4182 ;$v161 606 $aApplied mathematics 606 $aEngineering mathematics 606 $aThermodynamics 606 $aHeat engineering 606 $aHeat$xTransmission 606 $aMass transfer 606 $aFluid mechanics 606 $aFluids 606 $aMathematical and Computational Engineering$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/T11006 606 $aEngineering Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/T14000 606 $aEngineering Fluid Dynamics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/T15044 606 $aThermodynamics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P21050 606 $aFluid- and Aerodynamics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P21026 615 0$aApplied mathematics. 615 0$aEngineering mathematics. 615 0$aThermodynamics. 615 0$aHeat engineering. 615 0$aHeat$xTransmission. 615 0$aMass transfer. 615 0$aFluid mechanics. 615 0$aFluids. 615 14$aMathematical and Computational Engineering. 615 24$aEngineering Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer. 615 24$aEngineering Fluid Dynamics. 615 24$aThermodynamics. 615 24$aFluid- and Aerodynamics. 676 $a519 700 $aTaler$b Dawid$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0964467 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910337470203321 996 $aNumerical Modelling and Experimental Testing of Heat Exchangers$92188141 997 $aUNINA
