Le premier a montré que la royauté franque a revêtu durant le haut Moyen Âge les traits essentiels du principat romain chrétien ; le second a souligné le rôle politique que les princes ont joué à côté du roi dans le monde franc et sa périphérie du VIIe au XIIIe siècle. Ces deux savants ont ainsi ouvert une perspective de recherche centrée non plus sur la principauté mais sur le principat. Ce livre veut leur rendre hommage. Son champ chronologique va de l?époque romaine à la fin du Moyen Âge dans un espace qui couvre une large part de l?Empire romain ainsi que ses marges celtiques et scandinaves. Dans ce cadre, les auteurs ont cherché à savoir si l?institution du principat fondée par Auguste a, dans ses traits fondamentaux, traversé les siècles. Ils ont aussi posé la question de la nature du principat médiéval. Le principe antique selon lequel le gouvernement du prince doit rechercher l?utilité commune est-il admis durant l?époque médiévale ? Le prince exerce-t-il alors une puissance en imposant sa volonté ou son peuple qui lui obéit reconnaît-il son autorité comme légitime ? Quatre voies d?analyse ont été retenues : l?idéal du bon prince et des rapports de ce gouvernant aux lois ; l?exercice et la pratique du pouvoir ; la contestation par ses sujets du prince maladroit ou immoral ; enfin la diffusion du modèle romain de gouvernement qu?est le principat. L?importance politique du principat, que la recherche contemporaine tient désormais pour essentielle, justifie ce livre. 517 $aprince, son peuple et le bien commun 606 $aClassics 606 $aHistory 606 $aMedieval & Renaissance Studies 606 $aprince 606 $amonarchie 606 $abien commun 606 $apouvoir 606 $arégime politique 606 $aprincipat 610 $amonarchie 610 $arégime politique 610 $apouvoir 610 $abien commun 610 $aprincipat 610 $aprince 615 4$aClassics 615 4$aHistory 615 4$aMedieval & Renaissance Studies 615 4$aprince 615 4$amonarchie 615 4$abien commun 615 4$apouvoir 615 4$arégime politique 615 4$aprincipat 700 $aAlibert$b Dominique$01303227 701 $aBozoky$b Edina$0386655 701 $aCassard$b Jean-Christophe$0981165 701 $aCasset$b Marie$01300386 701 $aConstable$b Giles$0162023 701 $aCrouzet-Pavan$b Élisabeth$0153045 701 $aDavies$b Wendy$0777452 701 $aDoherty$b Charles$01328425 701 $aDubreucq$b Alain$0183880 701 $aDutour$b Thierry$0624325 701 $aGuillot$b Olivier$0763727 701 $aJarousseau$b Guy$01295333 701 $aLimousin$b Éric$01282100 701 $aMartin$b Jean-Pierre$0166946 701 $aMcTurk$b Rory$0887918 701 $aOudart$b Hervé$0474645 701 $aPicard$b Jean-Michel$01286333 701 $aRoul$b Jehanne$01328426 701 $aSassier$b Yves$0508573 701 $aScordia$b Lydwine$01290633 701 $aQuaghebeur$b Joëlle$0778400 701 $aOudart$b Hervé$0474645 701 $aPicard$b Jean-Michel$01286333 801 0$bFR-FrMaCLE 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910330711503321 996 $aLe prince, son peuple et le bien commun$93038558 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04626nam 2200733 a 450 001 9910973832003321 005 20251116140442.0 010 $a9786610211173 010 $a9781280211171 010 $a1280211172 010 $a9780309573115 010 $a0309573114 010 $a9780585155418 010 $a0585155410 035 $a(CKB)110986584751368 035 $a(OCoLC)43477308 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebrary10057035 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000198995 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11181093 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000198995 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10184365 035 $a(PQKB)10563575 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC3376757 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL3376757 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10057035 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL21117 035 $a(OCoLC)923265949 035 $a(Perlego)4734608 035 $a(BIP)1006295 035 $a(EXLCZ)99110986584751368 100 $a19931222d1993 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcn||||||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aMaterials research agenda for the automotive and aircraft industries $ereport /$fof the Committee on Materials for the 21st Century, National Materials Advisory Board, Commission on Engineering and Technical Systems, National Research Council 205 $a1st ed. 210 $aWashington, DC $cNational Academy Press$d1993 215 $a1 online resource (84 p.) 225 1 $aNMAB ;$v468 300 $aCommittee chairman: Bernard H. They work as doctors and domestic helpers, engineers and entertainers, seamstresses and surveyors. It is through their collective labor that the Philippines has assumed a global presence. For over five centuries the Philippines has been integrated into the world economy. Only recently, however, has the Philippines been a pro-active agent in the production of a global economy.
