This book specifically focuses on conquest, exploitation of slave- and forced labor, mission, the formation of the Catholic Church after the council of Trent, Inquisition, popular religiosity, and postcolonial state formation. Attention is also given to the emergence of Protestant immigrant and mission churches, modern forms of exploitation of indigenous and Afro-American workers, Catholic-Protestant antagonisms from the beginning of ecumenism, liberation theology, the proliferation of Pentecostal churches, and the military dictatorships in the second half of the 20th Century. The inclusion of German research in this book is an important asset to the Anglo-American research area, in which information is disclosed that was previously unavailable in English. This book will present the reader with required handbook material on the history of Christianity on the South American continent, based on a tremendous breadth of literature. During his years as Technical Director in Central America, the author studied Mesoamerican Indian Cultures as well as the social conditions of the impoverished sectors of the population. This book is a compilation of the author?s extensive research while a lecturer of church history at the Theological Faculty of São Leopoldo (Brazil), as well as during visits to nearly all countries of Latin America, and as a visiting professor in Portugal, Brazil, Nicaragua, Cuba, Argentine and Peru. Thorough research was also completed while lecturing at the University of Cologne (Germany) on Iberian and Latin American History, as well as during his term as professorial chair of Richard Konetzke and Günter Kahle. This publication is an amalgamation of the knowledge and expertise the author gained during research from his entire career. 410 0$aReligion in the Americas$v13. 606 $aChristianity$zLatin America$xHistory 607 $aLatin America$xChurch history 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aChristianity$xHistory. 676 $a278 700 $aPrien$b Hans-Ju?rgen$0965645 701 $aBuckwalter$b Stephen E$0965646 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910462367303321 996 $aChristianity in Latin America$92190970 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02053nam 2200649Ia 450 001 9910451753303321 005 20200520144314.0 010 $a1-4166-0331-X 010 $a9786610933297 010 $a1-4166-0329-8 010 $a1-280-93329-1 024 3 $z9781416603306 024 3 $z9781416603290 035 $a(CKB)1000000000520401 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000255902 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11939407 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000255902 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10218721 035 $a(PQKB)10986371 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC3002154 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC280407 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC4948045 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL3002154 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10130806 035 $a(OCoLC)70259693 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL4948045 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL93329 035 $a(EXLCZ)991000000000520401 100 $a20060707d2006 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcn||||||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aTeacher leadership that strengthens professional practice$b[electronic resource] /$fCharlotte Danielson 210 $aAlexandria, Va. $cAssociation for Supervision and Curriculum Development$dc2006 215 $avii, 160 p 300 $aBibliographic Level Mode of Issuance: Monograph 311 $a1-4166-0271-2 311 $a1-4166-0330-1 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references (p. 154-155) and index. 606 $aTeacher participation in administration 606 $aTeachers$xProfessional relationships 606 $aEducational leadership 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aTeacher participation in administration. 615 0$aTeachers$xProfessional relationships. 615 0$aEducational leadership. 676 $a371.1/06 700 $aDanielson$b Charlotte$0921715 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910451753303321 996 $aTeacher leadership that strengthens professional practice$92476635 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01108nam 2200373 450 001 9910317718403321 005 20221006134351.0 010 $a953-51-7244-1 035 $a(CKB)4970000000098900 035 $a(NjHacI)994970000000098900 035 $a(EXLCZ)994970000000098900 100 $a20221006d2015 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aMammography techniques and review /$fedited by Fabiano Fernandes, Lourdes Brasil, Renato Guadagnin 210 1$a[Place of publication not identified] :$cIntechOpen,$d[2015] 210 4$d©2015 215 $a1 online resource (122 pages) 311 $a953-51-2138-3 606 $aBreast$xRadiography 615 0$aBreast$xRadiography. 676 $a618.1907572 702 $aFernandes$b Fabiano 702 $aBrasil$b Lourdes 702 $aGuadagnin$b Renato 801 0$bNjHacI 801 1$bNjHacl 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910317718403321 996 $aMammography Techniques and Review$92039544 997 $aUNINA
