The data was collected at the Japanese B-meson factory KEKB with the Belle detector, one of the most successful large-scale experiments worldwide. CP violation is a subtle quantum effect that makes the world look different when simultaneously left and right and matter and antimatter are exchanged. This being a prerequisite for our own world to have developed from the big bang, there are only a few experimental indications of such effects, and their detection requires very intricate techniques. The discovery of CP violation in B meson decays garnered Kobayashi and Maskawa, who had predicted these findings as early as 1973, the 2008 Nobel prize in physics. This thesis describes in great detail what are by far the best measurements of branching ratios and CP violation parameters in two special reactions with two charm mesons in the final state. It presents an in-depth but accessible overview of the theory, phenomenology, experimental setup, data collection, Monte Carlo simulations, (blind) statistical data analysis, and systematic uncertainty studies. 410 0$aSpringer Theses, Recognizing Outstanding Ph.D. Research,$x2190-5053 606 $aElementary particles (Physics) 606 $aQuantum field theory 606 $aMathematical physics 606 $aPhysical measurements 606 $aMeasurement    606 $aElementary Particles, Quantum Field Theory$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P23029 606 $aTheoretical, Mathematical and Computational Physics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P19005 606 $aMeasurement Science and Instrumentation$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P31040 615 0$aElementary particles (Physics). 615 0$aQuantum field theory. 615 0$aMathematical physics. 615 0$aPhysical measurements. 615 0$aMeasurement   . 615 14$aElementary Particles, Quantum Field Theory. 615 24$aTheoretical, Mathematical and Computational Physics. 615 24$aMeasurement Science and Instrumentation. 676 $a530.1 676 $a539.7 700 $aRöhrken$b Markus$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0791334 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910300396003321 996 $aTime-Dependent CP Violation Measurements$91768712 997 $aUNINA
