These differential systems are symmetric with respect to the origin of coordinates. This class of systems, driven by concrete applications, is of interest in engineering, in particular in control theory and the design of electric circuits. By studying these particular differential systems, we will introduce the basic tools of the qualitative theory of ordinary differential equations, which allow us to describe the global dynamics of these systems including the dynamics at infinity. The behavior of their solutions, their parametric stability or instability and their bifurcations are described. The book is highly suitable for a first course in the qualitative theory of differential equations or dynamical systems, particularly for engineers, mathematicians, and physicists. 410 0$aBirkhäuser Advanced Texts Basler Lehrbücher,$x2296-4894 606 $aDifferential equations 606 $aSystem theory 606 $aControl theory 606 $aDifferential Equations 606 $aSystems Theory, Control 615 0$aDifferential equations. 615 0$aSystem theory. 615 0$aControl theory. 615 14$aDifferential Equations. 615 24$aSystems Theory, Control. 676 $a515.352 700 $aLlibre$b Jaume$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$053452 702 $aTeruel$b Antonio E$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910300150003321 996 $aIntroduction to the Qualitative Theory of Differential Systems$92512358 997 $aUNINA
