It also includes some elementary properties of Hausdorff measures as well as the basic properties of spaces of integrable functions and standard theorems on integrals depending on a parameter. Integration on a product space, change-of-variables formulas as well as the construction and study of classical Cantor sets are treated in detail. Classical convolution inequalities, such as Young's inequality and Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev inequality, are proven. Further topics include the Radon-Nikodym theorem, notions of harmonic analysis, classical inequalities and interpolation theorems including Marcinkiewicz's theorem, and the definition of Lebesgue points and the Lebesgue differentiation theorem. Each chapter ends with a large number of exercises and detailed solutions. A comprehensive appendix provides the reader with various elements of elementary mathematics, such as a discussion around the calculation of antiderivatives or the Gamma function. It also provides more advanced material such as some basic properties of cardinals and ordinals which are useful for the study of measurability. 606 $aFunctions of real variables 606 $aMeasure theory 606 $aReal Functions$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M12171 606 $aMeasure and Integration$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M12120 615 0$aFunctions of real variables. 615 0$aMeasure theory. 615 14$aReal Functions. 615 24$aMeasure and Integration. 676 $a515.8 676 $a515.42 700 $aLerner$b Nicolas$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$061544 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910300141103321 996 $aA Course on Integration Theory$92512352 997 $aUNINA 999 $aThis Record contains information from the Harvard Library Bibliographic Dataset, which is provided by the Harvard Library under its Bibliographic Dataset Use Terms and includes data made available by, among others the Library of Congress LEADER 03632nam 22007095 450 001 9910416122603321 005 20251010080525.0 010 $a9783030372651 010 $a3030372650 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-030-37265-1 035 $a(CKB)4100000011363636 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-030-37265-1 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6420163 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL6420163 035 $a(OCoLC)1236265730 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/28412 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC31734387 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL31734387 035 $a(OCoLC)1490382701 035 $a(Perlego)4373568 035 $a(ODN)ODN0010067488 035 $a(oapen)doab28412 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000011363636 100 $a20200730d2020 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurnn#008mamaa 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aBritish Media Coverage of the Press Reform Debate $eJournalists Reporting Journalism /$fby Binakuromo Ogbebor 205 $a1st ed. 2020. 210 1$aCham :$cSpringer International Publishing :$cImprint: Palgrave Macmillan,$d2020. 215 $a1 online resource (XI, 227 p.) 311 08$a9783030372644 311 08$a3030372642 327 $a1. Gathering data from a content analysis of 870 news articles, Ogbebor shows how journalists cover debates on media policy and illustrates the impact of their coverage on democracy. Through this analysis, the book contributes to knowledge of paradigm repair strategies; public sphere; gatekeeping theory; the concept of journalism as an interpretive community; political economy of the press; as well as the neoliberal and social democratic interpretations of press freedom. Providing insight into factors inhibiting and aiding the role of the news media as a democratic public sphere, it will be a valuable resource for the press, media reform activists, members of the public, and academics in the fields of journalism, politics and law. 606 $aJournalism 606 $aEthnology$zGreat Britain 606 $aCulture 606 $aMass media$xPolitical aspects 606 $aJournalism 606 $aBritish Culture 606 $aMedia Policy and Politics 615 0$aJournalism. 615 0$aEthnology 615 0$aCulture. 615 0$aMass media$xPolitical aspects. 615 14$aJournalism. 615 24$aBritish Culture. 615 24$aMedia Policy and Politics. 676 $a070.4 676 $a072 686 $aLAN008000$aSOC000000$aSOC052000$2bisacsh 700 $aOgbebor$b Binakuromo$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0849960 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910416122603321 996 $aBritish Media Coverage of the Press Reform Debate$91897905 997 $aUNINA
