More precisely, the book contends that there are overlapping natural and cultural cycles which co-exist in a constantly transmuting space-time and which are counterpointed with the linearity of pivotal events that drive the plot forwards. This work examines the psychological relations to these space-time patterns of the characters, principally the heroines, focusing on the transformations of their emotional states which prompt linear leaps. 606 $aLiterature, Modern$x18th century 606 $aLiterature, Modern$x20th century 606 $aEuropean literature 606 $aEighteenth-Century Literature 606 $aTwentieth-Century Literature 606 $aEuropean Literature 615 0$aLiterature, Modern$x18th century. 615 0$aLiterature, Modern$x20th century. 615 0$aEuropean literature. 615 14$aEighteenth-Century Literature. 615 24$aTwentieth-Century Literature. 615 24$aEuropean Literature. 676 $a823.7 700 $aBaublyté Kaufmann$b Ruta$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0855647 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910300042503321 996 $aThe Architecture of Space-Time in the Novels of Jane Austen$91910335 997 $aUNINA
