In all these areas, virtually all models used have to take into account not only uncertainty in its trad itional sense, but also imprecision of information. That is, in addition to traditional probabilistic and statistical tools and techniques, the use of methods based on fuzzy sets can also be sensible. Even more so, employing certain extensions of the classic concept of a fuzzy set can be very useful. Applying intuitionistic fuzzy sets, which are at the core of the IWIFSGN conferences, is a good example. Both conferences, BOS-2016 and IWIFSGN-2016, offered ideal venues for the exchange of ideas, cross-fertilization, and mutual inspiration. 410 0$aAdvances in Intelligent Systems and Computing,$x2194-5365 ;$v559 606 $aComputational intelligence 606 $aArtificial intelligence 606 $aComputational Intelligence 606 $aArtificial Intelligence 615 0$aComputational intelligence. 615 0$aArtificial intelligence. 615 14$aComputational Intelligence. 615 24$aArtificial Intelligence. 676 $a511.322 702 $aAtanassov$b Krassimir T$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aKacprzyk$b Janusz$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aKa?uszko$b Andrzej$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aKrawczak$b Maciej$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aOwsi?ski$b Jan$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aSotirov$b Sotir$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aSotirova$b Evdokia$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aSzmidt$b Eulalia$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aZadro?ny$b S?awomir$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910299880503321 996 $aUncertainty and Imprecision in Decision Making and Decision Support: Cross-Fertilization, New Models and Applications$92532489 997 $aUNINA
