The sub-state level consists of provinces in Canada, the Faroe Islands in Denmark and the Åland Islands in Finland. The book provides interpretations of the competence line based on double enumeration between the national parliament and the sub-state entities, where relevant, on the basis of the travaux preparatoires of the fundamental norms on which the arrangements are based, judicial or quasi-judicial resolutions of competence problems, and relevant doctrine and literature. 410 0$aSpringerBriefs in Law,$x2192-8568 606 $aPrivate international law 606 $aConflict of laws 606 $aInternational law 606 $aComparative law 606 $aLaw$xPhilosophy 606 $aLaw$xHistory 606 $aComparative government 606 $aPrivate International Law, International and Foreign Law, Comparative Law 606 $aTheories of Law, Philosophy of Law, Legal History 606 $aComparative Politics 615 0$aPrivate international law. 615 0$aConflict of laws. 615 0$aInternational law. 615 0$aComparative law. 615 0$aLaw$xPhilosophy. 615 0$aLaw$xHistory. 615 0$aComparative government. 615 14$aPrivate International Law, International and Foreign Law, Comparative Law. 615 24$aTheories of Law, Philosophy of Law, Legal History. 615 24$aComparative Politics. 676 $a327.1 700 $aSuksi$b Markku$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0280831 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910299867603321 996 $aDouble Enumeration of Legislative Powers in a Sub-State Context$92281421 997 $aUNINA
