In particular, the work looks at advances in design, development and implementation of contemporary surgical, rehabilitation and biorobots. Surgical robots allow surgeons greater access to areas under operation using more precise and less invasive methods. Rehabilitation robots facilitate and support the lives of the infirm, elderly people, or those with dysfunction of body parts affecting movement. These robots are also used for rehabilitation and related procedures, such as training and therapy. Biorobots are designed to imitate the cognition of humans and animals. The need to substitute humans working on delicate, tiresome and monotonous tasks, or working with potentially health-damaging toxic materials, requires intelligent, high-performance service robots with the ability to cooperate, advanced communication and sophisticated perception and cognitive capabilities. Progress in this field is fast and results need to be disseminated to stimulate both practical applications and further research. Thus, these papers are a valuable addition to existing literature. 410 0$aMechanisms and Machine Science,$x2211-0984 ;$v20 606 $aRobotics 606 $aAutomation 606 $aBiomedical engineering 606 $aMechanical engineering 606 $aRobotics and Automation$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/T19020 606 $aBiomedical Engineering and Bioengineering$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/T2700X 606 $aMechanical Engineering$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/T17004 615 0$aRobotics. 615 0$aAutomation. 615 0$aBiomedical engineering. 615 0$aMechanical engineering. 615 14$aRobotics and Automation. 615 24$aBiomedical Engineering and Bioengineering. 615 24$aMechanical Engineering. 676 $a610.28 702 $aRodi?$b Aleksandar$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aPisla$b Doina$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aBleuler$b Hannes$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910299733703321 996 $aNew Trends in Medical and Service Robots$91547700 997 $aUNINA
