Collaboration and Shared Resources across the University Advancement Landscape. 330 $aThis book examines fundraising engagement and the university advancement and development professionals who make it happen at public regional universities in the United States. These institutions are disproportionately under-resourced by state and federal subsidies, and private fundraising has become increasingly relied upon by students attending these institutions while the actual fundraising departments remain understaffed, overworked, and struggling to capture the imaginations of private donors and corporate and family foundations. The book focuses on how advancement professionals at these institutions across the nation have overcome the aforementioned challenges to attain support for their universities unchanging missions in these ever-changing times?to educate a critical mass of United States? future citizens, workforce, and leaders while providing a socioeconomic ladder to its most vulnerable students. William J. Broussard is Vice Chancellor of University Advancement at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, USA. He has authored over 150 book chapters, essays, articles, and reviews and served as an award-winning fundraising and intercollegiate athletics executive and professor of English, literature, and journalism for 24 years. . 606 $aEducation, Higher 606 $aSchool management and organization 606 $aSchool management and organization 606 $aNonprofit organizations 606 $aHigher Education 606 $aOrganization and Leadership 606 $aNon-Profit Organizations and Public Enterprises 615 0$aEducation, Higher. 615 0$aSchool management and organization. 615 0$aSchool management and organization. 615 0$aNonprofit organizations. 615 14$aHigher Education. 615 24$aOrganization and Leadership. 615 24$aNon-Profit Organizations and Public Enterprises. 676 $a378.106 700 $aBroussard$b William J$01460547 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910770261803321 996 $aFundraising at Public Regional Universities$93660348 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04800nam 22006735 450 001 9910298413703321 005 20250609112046.0 010 $a94-024-1535-1 024 7 $a10.1007/978-94-024-1535-3 035 $a(CKB)4100000006674731 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5525844 035 $a(DE-He213)978-94-024-1535-3 035 $a(PPN)230535577 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6242299 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000006674731 100 $a20180926d2018 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aDigenetic Trematodes of Indian Marine Fishes /$fby Rokkam Madhavi, Rodney A. Conclusion. 330 $aThis book is the first to explore in detail the systematics and taxonomy of the digenean fauna of fish in Indian marine waters. It includes morphological descriptions of 648 species in 190 genera and 30 families. The figures from the original publications are enhanced and made more attractive. Each description is accompanied by information on hosts and distribution. Digenetic trematodes, usually known as Digeneans, are the most diverse group of metazoan parasites of marine fishes. They are parasitic flatworms (Phylum Platyhelminthes) with a complex life-cycle and as adults inhabit mainly the alimentary system and associated organs, but also occur in the blood, under the scales, in the body cavity and in the gall and urinary bladders. Keys to families, genera and species are provided, except for a few large and controversial genera, where morphological characters are insufficient for identification. Although there is extensive literature on Digeneans, it is scattered and largely in obscure local journals. Bringing together most of the primary literature on the subject, this book provides a primer for further study and a starting point for the use of modern molecular methods for the fauna of this region. Unique in its scope, it is a valuable resource for students, professional parasitologists and ecologists as well as fishery and wildlife biologists. 606 $aEntomology 606 $aParasitology 606 $aMarine sciences 606 $aFresh water 606 $aAnimals$vClassification 606 $aAnimals$vClassification 606 $aBiodiversity 606 $aEntomology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/L25090 606 $aParasitology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/B19002 606 $aMarine & Freshwater Sciences$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/U36000 606 $aAnimal Systematics/Taxonomy/Biogeography$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/L2504X 606 $aBiodiversity$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/L19031 615 0$aEntomology. 615 0$aParasitology. 615 0$aMarine sciences. 615 0$aFresh water. 615 0$aAnimals 615 0$aAnimals 615 0$aBiodiversity. 615 14$aEntomology. 615 24$aParasitology. 615 24$aMarine & Freshwater Sciences. 615 24$aAnimal Systematics/Taxonomy/Biogeography. 615 24$aBiodiversity. 676 $a595.122 700 $aMadhavi$b Rokkam$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$01062083 702 $aBray$b Rodney A$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910298413703321 996 $aDigenetic Trematodes of Indian Marine Fishes$92522665 997 $aUNINA
