Almost 50 years after its first appearance, Arias's work is a fundamental part not only of the history of the Chilean labor organization, but, at the same time, a valuable antecedent for the history of the press and communications in our country. With slight adjustments and correction of misprints, this new edition fully conforms to the task done by its author. 606 $aPress, Labor$zChile 606 $aPress$zChile 606 $aJournalism 606 $aPublicity 606 $aNewspapers 606 $aPeriodicals$xPeriodicals$vBibliography 610 $acommunismo 610 $acultura 610 $ahistoriografía 610 $apolítica 610 $aprensa 610 $asocialismo 615 0$aPress, Labor 615 0$aPress 615 0$aJournalism. 615 0$aPublicity. 615 0$aNewspapers. 615 0$aPeriodicals$xPeriodicals 676 $a070 700 $aEscobedo$b Osvaldo Arias$0901301 801 2$bUkMaJRU 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910136886903321 996 $aLa Prensa Obrera en Chile 1900-1930$92014452 997 $aUNINA LEADER 05012nam 22007815 450 001 9910298381203321 005 20200707005306.0 010 $a1-4614-9616-0 024 7 $a10.1007/978-1-4614-9616-8 035 $a(CKB)3710000000089065 035 $a(EBL)1698489 035 $a(OCoLC)881162042 035 $a(SSID)ssj0001152531 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11727464 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001152531 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)11165240 035 $a(PQKB)10169337 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC1698489 035 $a(DE-He213)978-1-4614-9616-8 035 $a(PPN)176749381 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000000089065 100 $a20140217d2014 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 14$aThe Analysis of Diffuse Triple Junction Zones in Plate Tectonics and the Pirate Model of Western Caribbean Tectonics /$fby D. This book extends classic methods of kinematic analysis first developed in the 1960s to the more general scenarios of diffuse deformation zones between plates. The analytic methods presented specifically target the non-rigid deformation implied by unstable triple junction configurations. These methods are then applied to the tectonic evolution of western Caribbean region which provides new ways to test and challenge the established Pacific model of Caribbean tectonics. Possible advantages of the new Pirate model of Caribbean tectonics are discussed in terms of paleo-geography and paleo-ocean connections, as well as mineral and hydrocarbon potential and seismic risks across the region. 410 0$aSpringerBriefs in Earth Sciences,$x2191-5369 606 $aGeology, Structural 606 $aGeophysics 606 $aGeomorphology 606 $aEarth sciences 606 $aGeology 606 $aOceanography 606 $aStructural Geology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/G17040 606 $aGeophysics/Geodesy$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/G18009 606 $aGeomorphology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/J16010 606 $aEarth Sciences, general$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/G00002 606 $aGeology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/G17002 606 $aOceanography$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/G25005 607 $aCaribbean Area$2fast 615 0$aGeology, Structural. 615 0$aGeophysics. 615 0$aGeomorphology. 615 0$aEarth sciences. 615 0$aGeology. 615 0$aOceanography. 615 14$aStructural Geology. 615 24$aGeophysics/Geodesy. 615 24$aGeomorphology. 615 24$aEarth Sciences, general. 615 24$aGeology. 615 24$aOceanography. 676 $a550 700 $aKeppie$b D.
