This book aims at drawing the attention of researchers and practitioners towards the importance of various ?layers? of context on multinational teams and developing an empirically derived framework for multinational team functioning in business organisations. It shows how companies make use of these teams and how these teams contribute to competitive advantage. The study has been conducted in an Austrian, a German, and an American company. It reveals that if managed appropriately, these teams reduce the complexity of operations by facilitating the creation and transfer of explicit and tacit knowledge and by transferring appropriate dimensions of headquarter corporate culture between geographically dispersed business units. 410 0$aForschungsergebnisse der Wirtschaftsuniversita?t Wien 517 $aForschungsergebnisse der Wirtschaftsuniversitaet Wien vol. 26 606 $aInternational agencies$vMultinational 610 $aAmerican 610 $aCompanies 610 $aCorporate Strategy 610 $aCorporate Structure 610 $aEuropean 610 $aHajro 610 $aInterkulturelles Management 610 $aMultinational 610 $aMultinational Teams 610 $aMultinationales Unternehmen 610 $aTeams 610 $aTeamwork 615 0$aInternational agencies 700 $aHajro$b Aida$01424827 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910297040803321 996 $aMultinational Teams in European and American Companies$93554384 997 $aUNINA
