Dictionary. 330 $aVolume 1 of A Grammar and Dictionary of Indus Kohistani contains around 8.000 lemmata, many of which are supplemented with parallels from adjacent dialects, from other Dardic, from Nuristani, Indo-Aryan, Iranian, Dravidian and Munda languages, and from Burushaski. The lemmata have been, wherever possible, provided with information about their origin, and they are connected by numerous cross-references. Since Indus Kohistani is a pitch accent language with complicated rules governing the behaviour of the two pitch accents in compounding, derivation, and inflexion, the lemmata are not only marked with their appropriate pitch accents, but the behaviour of the accents (change of value, shift) is illustrated with a large number of inflected forms and cross-references. And since Indus Kohistani has a rich (and frequently irregular) inner and outer conjugation, most verbs are provided with many finite and participle forms. In addition, the dictionary contains two indexes (English - Indus Kohistani and Old Indo-Aryan - Indus Kohistani), and lists with place and clan names, names of the months, etc. 410 0$aTrends in linguistics.$pDocumentation ;$v21-1. 606 $aIndus Kohistani language$xGrammar 606 $aIndus Kohistani language$vDictionaries 615 0$aIndus Kohistani language$xGrammar. 615 0$aIndus Kohistani language 676 $a491.4/99 700 $aZoller$b Claus Peter$01558415 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910782192603321 996 $aA grammar and dictionary of Indus Kohistani$93822738 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02936nam 2200661Ia 450 001 9910957458603321 005 20251117065758.0 010 $a1-136-80955-4 010 $a1-283-10387-7 010 $a9786613103871 010 $a1-136-80956-2 010 $a0-203-82861-5 024 7 $a10.4324/9780203828618 035 $a(CKB)2670000000090991 035 $a(EBL)672410 035 $a(OCoLC)764571816 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000516835 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11365811 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000516835 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10477612 035 $a(PQKB)11278371 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC672410 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL672410 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10542177 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL310387 035 $a(OCoLC)721910511 035 $a(EXLCZ)992670000000090991 100 $a20100916d2011 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aChina's Southern Tang dynasty, 937-976 /$fJohannes L. Although often regarded as one of several states preceding the much better known Song dynasty (960-1279), the Southern Tang dynasty was in fact the key state in this period, preserving cultural values and artefacts from the former great Tang dynasty (618-907) which were to form the basis of Song rule, and thereby presenting the Song with a direct link to the Tang and it traditions.
