606 $aLiterature 606 $arealeza 606 $aadministração 606 $alegislação 606 $aconcelho 610 $aconcelho 610 $arealeza 610 $alegislação 610 $aadministração 615 4$aLiterature 615 4$arealeza 615 4$aadministração 615 4$alegislação 615 4$aconcelho 700 $aVilar$b Hermínia Vasconcelos$0777294 701 $aVasconcelos Vilar$b Hermínia$01303114 801 0$bFR-FrMaCLE 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910275025103321 996 $aOs Regimentos de Évora e de Arraiolos do Século XV$93026850 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03554nam 22007092 450 001 9910806810603321 005 20151002020706.0 010 $a0-7486-7129-3 010 $a0-7486-9652-0 010 $a1-282-62005-3 010 $a9786612620058 010 $a0-7486-2995-5 024 7 $a10.1515/9780748629954 035 $a(CKB)2670000000028414 035 $a(EBL)537022 035 $a(OCoLC)650476448 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000399878 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11297927 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000399878 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10393524 035 $a(PQKB)10260443 035 $a(UkCbUP)CR9780748629954 035 $a(StDuBDS)EDZ0000092669 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC537022 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL537022 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10391757 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL262005 035 $a(DE-B1597)615906 035 $a(DE-B1597)9780748629954 035 $a(OCoLC)1302166144 035 $a(EXLCZ)992670000000028414 100 $a20130322d2010|||| uy| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 13$aAn introduction to Islamic archaeology /$fMarcus Milwright$b[electronic resource] 210 1$aEdinburgh :$cEdinburgh University Press,$d2010. 215 $a1 online resource (x, 260 pages) $cdigital, PDF file(s) 225 1 $aNew Edinburgh Islamic surveys 300 $aTitle from publisher's bibliographic system (viewed on 02 Oct 2015). 311 $a0-7486-2310-8 311 $a0-7486-2311-6 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references (p. It traces the history of the discipline from its earliest manifestations through to the present and evaluates the contribution made by archaeology to the understanding of key aspects of Islamic culture. The author argues that it is essential for the results of archaeological research to be more fully integrated into the wider historical study of the Islamic world. Organising the book into broad themes allows a focus on issues that are relevant across different regions and periods. Short case studies are included to allow the reader to examine the ways in which archaeologists collect and interpret material in specific contexts. The emphasis is on archaeological work conducted in the area stretching from Afghanistan and the Central Asian republics in the east to Spain in the west. Comparisons are also be drawn with Islamic regions of sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian subcontinent, reflecting the main focus of archaeological work in the Islamic world to the present day. 410 0$aNew Edinburgh Islamic surveys. 606 $aIslamic antiquities 606 $aExcavations (Archaeology)$zIslamic countries 606 $aIslamic civilization 615 0$aIslamic antiquities. 615 0$aExcavations (Archaeology) 615 0$aIslamic civilization. 676 $a909/.09767 700 $aMilwright$b Marcus$01680211 801 0$bUkCbUP 801 1$bUkCbUP 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910806810603321 996 $aAn introduction to Islamic archaeology$94107157 997 $aUNINA
