New possibilities of research had been made possible due to the publication of the working manuscripts in recent years, enabling a better understanding of the juridical work produced by the bishops. Given these new materials, the author has delved deeper into the drafting processes carried out by the provincial council. Taking a close look at the reports sent to the council, the theological and juridical treaties, and other conciliar and synodal legislation, along with the consultations to jurists and theologians, the author has identified different processes of drafting of the conciliar decrees. The result of this research allows us to relocate the authorship of the conciliar decrees to the Mexican episcopate as well as establish the degree of their originality. Locality of the law and its significance in the legal order in force at that time is one of the characteristics of the body of decrees promulgated at the Third Mexican Provincial Council." 410 0$aGlobal perspectives on legal history ;$vv. 4. 606 $aCouncils and synods, Provincial (Canon law)$xHistory 606 $aEcclesiastical law$zMexico$xHistory 606 $aCanon law$xInterpretation and construction 608 $aElectronic books. 610 $aDecrees of the Third Mexican Provincial Council 610 $aLegal History 610 $aThird Mexican Provincial Council 610 $aGlobal History 615 0$aCouncils and synods, Provincial (Canon law)$xHistory. 615 0$aEcclesiastical law$xHistory. 615 0$aCanon law$xInterpretation and construction. 700 $aMoutin$b Osvaldo Rodolfo$0905414 702 $aDuve$b Thomas$4edt 702 $aVogenauer$b Stefan$4edt 702 $aDuve$b Thomas$4oth 702 $aVogenauer$b Stefan$4oth 712 02$aMax-Planck-Institut fu?r Europa?ische Rechtsgeschichte, 801 0$bMdBmJHUP 801 1$bMdBmJHUP 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910272355703321 996 $aLegislar en la América hispánica en la temprana edad moderna$92025120 997 $aUNINA
