The book offers an overview on land use planning regarding the aspects of urban flooding, urban climate, urban energy and urban mobility as well as spatial views from the angle of urban planning such as the metropolitan level, the city, the neighbourhood and building level. It shows that to a significant degree, measures dealing with climate change can be taken from the toolbox of sustainable urban development and reflects how institutional structures need to change to enhance chances for implementation given socio-cultural and economic constraints. This is merged and integrated into a holistic perspective of planning recommendations, supporting the municipal government to increase its adaptive capacity. The authors are members of a German government funded research project on how to support HCMC?s municipal government to adapt to risks related to climate change. 606 $aInternational environmental law 606 $aEnvironmental law 606 $aEnvironmental policy 606 $aEnvironmental monitoring 606 $aUrban planning 606 $aCity planning 606 $aClimate change 606 $aInternational Environmental Law$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/R19070 606 $aEnvironmental Law/Policy/Ecojustice$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/U16002 606 $aMonitoring/Environmental Analysis$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/U1400X 606 $aUrbanism$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/K18006 606 $aClimate Change$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/U12007 615 0$aInternational environmental law. 615 0$aEnvironmental law. 615 0$aEnvironmental policy. 615 0$aEnvironmental monitoring. 615 0$aUrban planning. 615 0$aCity planning. 615 0$aClimate change. 615 14$aInternational Environmental Law. 615 24$aEnvironmental Law/Policy/Ecojustice. 615 24$aMonitoring/Environmental Analysis. 615 24$aUrbanism. 615 24$aClimate Change. 676 $a340 702 $aKatzschner$b Antje$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aWaibel$b Michael$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aSchwede$b Dirk$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aKatzschner$b Lutz$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aSchmidt$b Michael$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aStorch$b Harry$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910255188403321 996 $aSustainable Ho Chi Minh City: Climate Policies for Emerging Mega Cities$92514239 997 $aUNINA
