Approximate MLE?s from Survey Data. 330 $aThe primary objective of this book is to study some of the research topics in the area of analysis of complex surveys which have not been covered in any book yet. It discusses the analysis of categorical data using three models: a full model, a log-linear model and a logistic regression model. It is a valuable resource for survey statisticians and practitioners in the field of sociology, biology, economics, psychology and other areas who have to use these procedures in their day-to-day work. It is also useful for courses on sampling and complex surveys at the upper-undergraduate and graduate levels. The importance of sample surveys today cannot be overstated. From voters? behaviour to fields such as industry, agriculture, economics, sociology, psychology, investigators generally resort to survey sampling to obtain an assessment of the behaviour of the population they are interested in. Many large-scale sample surveys collect data using complex surveydesigns like multistage stratified cluster designs. The observations using these complex designs are not independently and identically distributed ? an assumption on which the classical procedures of inference are based. This means that if classical tests are used for the analysis of such data, the inferences obtained will be inconsistent and often invalid. For this reason, many modified test procedures have been developed for this purpose over the last few decades. 606 $aStatistics 606 $aStatistics 606 $aBiometry 606 $aSocial sciences$xStatistical methods 606 $aStatistical Theory and Methods 606 $aStatistics in Business, Management, Economics, Finance, Insurance 606 $aBiostatistics 606 $aStatistics in Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Education, Behavorial Sciences, Public Policy 615 0$aStatistics. 615 0$aStatistics. 615 0$aBiometry. 615 0$aSocial sciences$xStatistical methods. 615 14$aStatistical Theory and Methods. 615 24$aStatistics in Business, Management, Economics, Finance, Insurance. 615 24$aBiostatistics. 615 24$aStatistics in Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Education, Behavorial Sciences, Public Policy. 676 $a519.5 700 $aMukhopadhyay$b Parimal$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0612055 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910254063003321 996 $aComplex surveys$91523231 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01066oam 2200361zu 450 001 9911004859503321 005 20210807003350.0 010 $a1-59124-298-3 035 $a(CKB)111056552543956 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000495160 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)12232520 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000495160 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10474950 035 $a(PQKB)10590043 035 $a(EXLCZ)99111056552543956 100 $a20160829d1997 uy 101 0 $aeng 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aRate Equations of Polymerization Reactions 210 31$a[Place of publication not identified]$cChemTec Publishing$d1997 300 $aBibliographic Level Mode of Issuance: Monograph 311 $a1-895198-16-X 606 $aChemistry$xChemical Engineering 615 4$aChemistry$xChemical Engineering 700 $aMezaki$b Reiji$043999 702 $aGuang-Hui$b Ma 801 0$bPQKB 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9911004859503321 996 $aRate Equations of Polymerization Reactions$94391210 997 $aUNINA
