Major proponents of this approach suggested that its potential lies in its democratization of biblical interpretation. To date, that promise has never been fulfilled. The reasons can be found by exploring the rhetoric of these rhetorical critics. Such an exploration uncovers systems of disciplinary constraints and discursive habits that keep rhetoric firmly within traditional units of academic biblical interpretation. We estimate a DSGE model with an informal sector, and rigidities in the formal labor and product markets. Along with increasing GDP and employment, deregulation also leads to lower informality and greater product market competition. Slow reallocation of resources between the formal and informal sectors leads to some adverse impacts in the short run that can be minimized by implementing a combined package of reforms. These impacts are shown to be greater in an economy with a larger informal sector. 410 0$aIMF Working Papers; Working Paper ;$vNo. 2016/047 606 $aManpower policy$zIndia 606 $aInformal sector (Economics)$zIndia 606 $aLabor market$zIndia 606 $aMacroeconomics$2imf 606 $aEconomics: General$2imf 606 $aInternational Economics$2imf 606 $aLabor$2imf 606 $aFinance: General$2imf 606 $aForeign Exchange$2imf 606 $aInformal Economy$2imf 606 $aUnderground Econom$2imf 606 $aTrade and Labor Market Interactions$2imf 606 $aOpen Economy Macroeconomics$2imf 606 $aLabor Economics Policies$2imf 606 $aDemand and Supply of Labor: General$2imf 606 $aWages, Compensation, and Labor Costs: General$2imf 606 $aUnemployment: Models, Duration, Incidence, and Job Search$2imf 606 $aGeneral Financial Markets: General (includes Measurement and Data)$2imf 606 $aEconomic & financial crises & disasters$2imf 606 $aEconomics of specific sectors$2imf 606 $aLabour$2imf 606 $aincome economics$2imf 606 $aFinance$2imf 606 $aFinancial crises$2imf 606 $aEconomic sectors$2imf 606 $aLabor markets$2imf 606 $aWages$2imf 606 $aUnemployment$2imf 606 $aCommodity markets$2imf 606 $aFinancial markets$2imf 606 $aLabor costs$2imf 606 $aCurrency crises$2imf 606 $aInformal sector$2imf 606 $aEconomics$2imf 606 $aLabor market$2imf 606 $aCommodity exchanges$2imf 606 $aIncome economics$2imf 607 $aIndia$2imf 615 0$aManpower policy 615 0$aInformal sector (Economics) 615 0$aLabor market 615 7$aMacroeconomics 615 7$aEconomics: General 615 7$aInternational Economics 615 7$aLabor 615 7$aFinance: General 615 7$aForeign Exchange 615 7$aInformal Economy 615 7$aUnderground Econom 615 7$aTrade and Labor Market Interactions 615 7$aOpen Economy Macroeconomics 615 7$aLabor Economics Policies 615 7$aDemand and Supply of Labor: General 615 7$aWages, Compensation, and Labor Costs: General 615 7$aUnemployment: Models, Duration, Incidence, and Job Search 615 7$aGeneral Financial Markets: General (includes Measurement and Data) 615 7$aEconomic & financial crises & disasters 615 7$aEconomics of specific sectors 615 7$aLabour 615 7$aincome economics 615 7$aFinance 615 7$aFinancial crises 615 7$aEconomic sectors 615 7$aLabor markets 615 7$aWages 615 7$aUnemployment 615 7$aCommodity markets 615 7$aFinancial markets 615 7$aLabor costs 615 7$aCurrency crises 615 7$aInformal sector 615 7$aEconomics 615 7$aLabor market 615 7$aCommodity exchanges 615 7$aIncome economics 676 $a331.110954 700 $aAnand$b Rahul$01107318 701 $aKhera$b Purva$01450951 801 0$bDcWaIMF 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910165037103321 996 $aMacroeconomic Impact of Product and Labor Market Reforms on Informality and Unemployment in India$93650694 997 $aUNINA
