After giving a detailed introduction to Janet bases and Thomas decomposition, the problem of finding an implicit description of certain sets of analytic functions in terms of differential equations is addressed. Effective methods of varying generality are developed to solve the differential elimination problems that arise in this context. In particular, it is demonstrated how the symbolic solution of partial differential equations profits from the study of the implicitization problem. For instance, certain families of exact solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations can be computed. 410 0$aLecture Notes in Mathematics,$x0075-8434 ;$v2121 606 $aAlgebra 606 $aField theory (Physics) 606 $aCommutative algebra 606 $aCommutative rings 606 $aAssociative rings 606 $aRings (Algebra) 606 $aPartial differential equations 606 $aField Theory and Polynomials$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M11051 606 $aCommutative Rings and Algebras$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M11043 606 $aAssociative Rings and Algebras$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M11027 606 $aPartial Differential Equations$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M12155 615 0$aAlgebra. 615 0$aField theory (Physics). 615 0$aCommutative algebra. 615 0$aCommutative rings. 615 0$aAssociative rings. 615 0$aRings (Algebra). 615 0$aPartial differential equations. 615 14$aField Theory and Polynomials. 615 24$aCommutative Rings and Algebras. 615 24$aAssociative Rings and Algebras. 615 24$aPartial Differential Equations. 676 $a512.94 700 $aRobertz$b Daniel$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0716368 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996213651403316 996 $aFormal algorithmic elimination for PDEs$91388028 997 $aUNISA LEADER 01502nam 2200481 450 001 9910163887103321 005 20230725062947.0 010 $a1-60529-062-9 035 $a(CKB)3710000000865877 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6062211 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL6062211 035 $a(OCoLC)1156074470 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000000865877 100 $a20170113h20102010 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $2rdacontent 182 $2rdamedia 183 $2rdacarrier 200 10$aDonatella cooks $esimple food made glamorous /$fDonatella Arpaia with Kathleen Hackett ; photographs by Anna Williams 210 1$a[Gordonsville, Virginia] :$cRodale,$d2010. 210 4$d©2010 215 $a1 online resource (271 pages) $ccolor illustrations, photographs 300 $aIncludes index. 311 $a1-60529-642-2 327 $aHors d'oeuvres -- Soups, salads, and small plates -- Pasta and grains -- Main courses -- Vegetables and side dishes -- Desserts. 606 $aCooking, Italian 606 $aCooking, American 606 $aEntertaining 615 0$aCooking, Italian. 615 0$aCooking, American. 615 0$aEntertaining. 676 $a641.5973 700 $aArpaia$b Donatella$01235333 702 $aHackett$b Kathleen 702 $aWilliams$b Anna 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910163887103321 996 $aDonatella cooks$92869336 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02777nam 2200397z- 450 001 9910346001303321 005 20210211 010 $a989-26-1228-0 035 $a(CKB)4920000000094004 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/46820 035 $a(oapen)doab46820 035 $a(EXLCZ)994920000000094004 100 $a20202102d2017 |y 0 101 0 $apor 135 $aurmn|---annan 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aA esperanc?a, utopia impossi?vel? Pore?m, para valer, ha? de gerar convicc?o?es e ser paradigma, motor, na sociedade. E na histo?ria. E? isto que os autores interrogam. Na religia?o, na cie?ncia, nas culturas. Com os seus conflitos desequilibradores e dia?logos conciliadores. O que nos torna livres e? a Verdade (Jo. 8, 32). Quanto mais ameac?ador o desequili?brio, mais competente, tem de ser a insatisfac?a?o cultural e social. E mais apurada a qualidade das utopias. Se a histo?ria actual cultiva ou na?o a Utopia, na?o e? indiferente. Quanto mais abrasiva a crise da esperanc?a, mais aguda se torna a pergunta. O livro prossegue a tetralogia anterior: 1.
